Job Title: Project Manager, Telecommunications

Location: Cleveland, OH

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager, Telecommunications, to join our Project Management Office (PMO) team. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing various telecommunications projects from initiation to completion. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure project success and deliverables are met within the specified timeline and budget.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute project plans, including defining project scope, goals, costs, and deliverables

• Collaborate with teams to translate business and information objectives into strategic/tactical project plans

• Solicit input from department heads for project prioritization

• Manage project budgets, resources, and timelines effectively

• Monitor project progress, status, and priority updates to stakeholders

• Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies

• Implement change management processes to ensure smooth project transitions

• Perform root cause analysis to identify areas for improvement

• Utilize project management software to track and manage project tasks

• Facilitate meetings, including agenda creation, meeting minutes, and action item follow-up

• Work independently on assigned projects while fostering a strong working relationship with the teams

• Drive results

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, project management or related field

• Proven experience of 3-5 years as a Project Manager or similar role in the telecommunications/fiber industry

• Experience working in and leading large multi-disciplinary teams

• Strong knowledge of project management principles and methodologies

• Excellent change management skills with the ability to adapt to evolving project requirements

• Proficient in root cause analysis techniques for problem-solving

• Ability to facilitate effective meetings and drive collaboration among team members

• Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively

• Exceptional conflict management skills to resolve issues

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present and translate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences as well as upper management; detailed, and concise, in all written and verbal communications

• Knowledge and experience with Microsoft's entire suite including Office 365 and Project; Power BI knowledge a plus

Preferred Qualifications:

• PMP (Project Management Professional) certification

• Previous leadership experience

• Master of Business Administration degree
