RGP is hiring accomplished Project Managers to help our Fortune 500 companies execute their complex initiatives like the new lease accounting (ASC 842) initiative. At RGP, you will have the opportunity to play a key role in managing cross-functional teams and partner with business leaders for accounting/financial system implementations, conversions and upgrades. You will drive process improvements through analytical and problem solving skills, data and process flow mapping, functional business requirement gathering, data extraction and conversion.
Responsibilities (May Vary From Client To Client)
Directly manage project delivery from project scoping and definition to successful execution
Manage day-to-day execution of project implementation: planning, tracking, documentation and status updates for the project to various stakeholders
Define approach, tools and processes used to support accounting/financial system implementations
Create consolidated program milestones, interdependencies, and communication plans
Lead meetings with stakeholders to move forward key tasks and escalate significant process bottlenecks, anticipated delays, and critical path analysis
Manage reporting and resolution of issues, risks and dependencies
Lead the design, documentation, implementation and continuous improvement of operational policies, processes and systems across the client organization
Translate business problems/requirements into a technology solution
Effectively work with business sponsors to gain necessary resources and support
Demonstrates the values of RGP: talent, integrity, enthusiasm, loyalty, accountability and focus
Knowledge and understanding of business relationship management, system analysis, governance and project management
Ability to discuss and champion the business case for change to a business audience, and then plan and execute solutions that are of recognizable value to the business
Strong strategic and tactical communication planning and execution skills
Excellent communications and facilitation skills to build relationships and foster trust at all organizational levels
Ability to think in complex and ever-changing situations and execute and transfer knowledge
Bachelor'sdegree; master's degree highly desired
PMP Certification, preferred
3+ years of functional accounting/financial/ERP system implementation experience utilizing proven project management processes
3+ years project management experience; including actions of developing project plans, authoring project charter, scope, project management approach, management plans, cost estimates, schedule and/or work breakdown.
External management consulting experience, including project management, strategy planning and deployment, risk management and project development; Big 4 consulting a plus
Experience facilitating change management strategies
User Acceptance Testing (UAT) know-how; systems quality assurance (QA) testing experience using automated testing tools
Good command of Microsoft Office (Project, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio)
