What will I be responsible for in this job? (brief summary of the role)
As a Change Healthcare Project Manager, you will be responsible for all aspects of the development/implementation of projects, involving department or cross-functional teams focused on the implementation of Change Healthcare product solutions for external customers. The PM interfaces with customer on all project-related matters, keeping the project on track and within scope, anticipating and assessing project issues and developing resolutions with the team and with management in order to meet productivity, quality, and customer-satisfaction goals. This role requires strong communication, organization, and leadership skills.
In addition, you will be responsible to learn the payer enrollment process and be capable of performing the enrollment function as required by business needs.
What are the requirements?
Years of experience: 3+ years managing projects
Education: Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience
Physical requirements: Office
What critical skills are needed for you to consider someone for this position?
Oversee all aspects of the project including developing and maintaining the project plan, managing scope, coordinating internal and third-party resources, and providing executive reporting.
Identify, define and make recommendations to mitigate project risks.
Assists with development and maintenance of business unit process and procedures.
Ability to escalate internally and externally when a project goes off track or team members are not contributing to the success of the overall project.
Possess ability to drive results within defined timeline and budget
Ability to lead and manage at all levels of the organization
Develop and/or present plans, status, and actions
Ability to identify problems/issues and offer solutions
Learn payer enrollment process and perform enrollment function as business needs require
What other skills/experience would be helpful to have?
Strong communication skills.
Ability to work across all levels of the organization.
Ability to understand automation at a basic level
Ability to communicate technical problems into understandable, non-expert term
How much should I expect to travel?
Up to 40%
Employees in roles that require travel will need to be able to qualify for a company credit card or be able to use their own personal credit card for travel expenses and submit for reimbursement.
Understanding of and experience with standard project management methodology
