Project Manager

The Project Manager reports to the Director of Construction and Planning and provides full time project management duties on projects that are assigned. This position includes the creative and effective responses for day-to-day planning and construction activities and includes managerial

oversight of major and minor capital projects. The Project Manager will coordinate the work of university hired Architectural and Engineering Consultants as well as contractors that are under university public works contracts.

• Responsibilities include daily direction of staff, personnel evaluations, facility maintenance operations (including 24/7 emergency on-call service), yearly budgeting and adherence to EWU's policies and procedures.

• Responsible to plan, develop, administer, manage, and control budgets, contracts, equipment, and supplies for maintenance operations activities on the EWU campus.
