What We're Looking for:

Domio is a technology-powered hospitality brand, which means our primary focus is to provide our guests with an incredible experience. We are looking for looking for a Project Manager (PM) to manage internal and external teams to oversee the successful design and build-outs of properties and projects. This person will work with interior designers, architects, operations leads, tech leads, product designers, and contractors to ensure that the projects are delivered on time and on budget. The PM will be responsible for the project from the moment the space has been identified through the opening to the handoff to the Operations team. This person should be able to juggle multiple projects in various stages simultaneously and be able to communicate cross-functionally across different teams. Our ideal candidate has experience at various stages of development including but not limited to due diligence, bidding, contract management, people management, etc. We're looking for someone who has experience both working with early-stage startups and smaller companies scaling rapidly, as well as established larger companies.

At Domio You Will:

  • Overall quality, budget, and schedule for project

  • Full process oversight of project team

  • Manage multiple projects at a time and prioritize workload within the group to ensure that project timelines are met

  • Coordinate closely with stakeholders to align priorities across the company

  • Ensure project team is adequately resourced to achieve project goals

  • Inspire project team to achieve goals

  • See projects through from beginning to end

  • Serve as primary point of contact for all extended and external project team members

  • Keep track of potential impacts to project budget, schedule, and quality

  • Substantial involvement during Due Diligence and Layout to understand lease terms, develop estimates and initial budget, and secure necessary approvals

  • Substantial involvement during Documentation and Pre-construction/Bidding to secure access agreements, finalize budget, award contracts, and release construction

  • Substantial involvement during Construction, Staging, and Closeout to ensure construction completion and finalize invoicing

  • Generate and continuously maintain reporting data for respective projects, reporting to upper management as necessary

  • Work across the different teams to roll out new initiatives and meeting targets

  • Must be willing and able to travel to oversee the projects at the various stages (30-50% travel)

Who You Are:

  • 5+ years of experience of project management of construction projects

  • Be a self-starter, with the ability to work independently in a fast paced environment

  • Experience in retail, commercial , or residential construction is preferable

  • Experience reading construction documents

  • Passionate about development and wanting to help grow the community

  • Love to think outside the box and explore new ways to execute projects

  • Passionate about collaborating and putting out the absolute best work

  • Great at managing productivity

  • Cross-functional communicator: must understand the daily responsibilities and work styles of each team member

  • Knowledge of industry standard project management software (e.g. Basecamp, Airtable, Trello commercial , or residential , etc.)

  • Comfortable with tech and data

  • Preferably interested in design and has a creative eye

We are looking for a Project Manager and we are flexible with your location, you could be based near our New York or our Charlotte offices or you could work remotely anywhere in the US or Canada. Summary: Project Managers at Sermo are responsible for the full client experience within each single medical market research survey they manage. It is their responsibility to understand, agree on and deliver on client expectations, to track and report status, escalate and mitigate risks/issues, and to support and manage project resources to successfully deliver each project within scope, ensuring a successful client experience. Sample Project Lifecycle: * Lead all client communication as the first point of contact coordinating with all internal teams * Schedule an internal kick off in conjunction with Operational teams (e.g.: Survey Programming, QA and Data Processing, etc…) to review the full survey, agreeing on project delivery estimates * Develop and execute project plans and fieldwork strategy based on Sermo PM methodology * When needed, request support from CSM Team to gather, summarize and confirm during external kick off call all client expectation on projects' objectives * Coordinate an external kick-off call, providing consultative feedback on the survey, before sharing any concerns, agreeing on and communicating timelines and deliverables. Follow up with notes * Manage a setup team with daily stand ups, ensuring that each resource is motivated, committed and on-schedule to deliver the final survey links back to the client for review * Conduct a soft launch of your study, analyse the data, and manage any departures from the expected project timeline * Monitor your survey quotas, doing everything necessary to deliver them on time and on budget * Establish proactive communication channels with clients by providing daily (or as agreed) updates on fielding and delivery milestones and setting recurrent calls based on clients' preferences * Transition to partnering with our data delivery teams (e.g.: coding, data processing) once field work is closed, handling final communication and delivery of the agreed-on results * Collaborate with internal and external finance teams to insure initial and final invoices are issued. Additional points of interest: * Collaborate with Client Service Management on: * Developing communication and tone specific to a client's team and account * Ensuring appropriate context is understood regarding history and current relationship * Agree on how to handle incidents, before providing solution to your client * Feedback any concerns regarding the project (Sales, fieldwork, client preferences) which could be used to strengthen the existing relationship * Help Project Management leadership develop new process, new collateral and participate in ensuring a process of continual iterative and constructive feedback to management * Mentoring additional internal teams on processes and procedures: Project Coordination, Translations, Sampling, Member Solutions, etc.… Minimum requirements: * 2+ years of project management experience, with Market Research or Healthcare background a plus * Project Management training and/or certification is a plus * Effective professional communication skills and excellent interpersonal skills * Fluent in English, both written and oral.
