We are currently seeking a professional for project management and expediting, which entails managing all components in the process of ordering goods for clients in the high-end home furnishings industry. This process includes communicating and collaborating with various external vendors, internal financial account managers, and interior design firms to ensure successful completion of projects.

We are seeking a Project Manager with experience in the planning and implementation of commercial and institutional relocation projects in a fast paced and dynamic environment. The role of the Project Manager is to provide effective management of the moderate size planning, FF&E, renovation and relocation assignments. The individual will: * Manage the budgeting, scheduling, design, bidding, construction, selection of furnishings, fixtures and equipment and coordinate relocation requirements for renovation or relocation projects. * Develop project schedules and budgets, run weekly meetings and document progress and action items to ensure completion * Be able to manage competing demands on (2-4) projects of varying size and complexity while performing in a professional manner and maintaining a professional appearance and attitude * Possess the ability to handle medium to difficult projects with minimal supervision * Be comfortable working both in the STV|DPM office and on-site at client facilities * Lead project teams through effective interpersonal skills and a very strong work ethic * Report to the Project Executive and/or Sr. Project Manager (onsite) and may be responsible for the training, supervision and daily duties of 1 – 2 Assistant Project Managers while onsite Required Skills & Experience * A four year degree in building construction, engineering, facilities management, architecture or a related field or higher preferred * 3 to 7 years of related experience. CAD ability desired and a plus * Technical expertise related to construction and/ or corporate relocation sufficient to ensure success in this position * The Project Manager must be able to express ideas and thoughts clearly and effectively in both written and verbal communication * Must exhibit good listening and comprehension skills * Duties will be carried out both at the client site and at the STV|DPM office.
