Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain Salt Lake City (SLC) start-up project timelines and track deliverables to ensure alignment with the facility construction plan and relevant CMC project timelines, intervening as appropriate to ensure meeting of goals.

• Monitor and report progress to SLC Leadership Team, collaborators and senior management on project status, timelines, and risks for the start-up of the site, triaging and escalating issues as appropriate.

• Support the implementation of business systems and tools for SLC

• Manage integrated project plans, timelines, and risks associated with the transfer of manufacturing processes and the production of biologic drugs, i.e., large molecules

• Manage site transfer project team meetings by drafting agendas, facilitating meetings, drafting minutes, and following up on action items, while helping foster a collaborative team culture

• Track key site initiatives by monitoring progress towards meeting goals, ensuring follow-through on the part of relevant players and sustaining momentum needed to drive these initiatives.

Requirements

• BS/MS in a scientific discipline with life sciences experience preferred

• 3+ years of experience in project management with strong knowledge of project management fundamentals, including advanced skills with project management software, preferably Smartsheet

• Proven experience in knowledge management, communication and planning

• Industry exp: Pharma, Biotech, Life Sciences

• Can do attitude, ability to anticipate issues and deploy analytic problem-solving skills without explicit guidance

• Strong interpersonal skills
