We have several high level projects coming up in our pipeline and are looking for a Project Manager with strong experience on the multi-family and/or commercial side. This will be a high visibility role where you will be overseeing entire build outs and TI work for our upcoming projects in the Indianapolis area.
What You Will Be Doing

  • Establish work plans, scheduling and provides managerial oversight

  • Submittal tracking

  • Manage long term risk on projects

  • Evaluate and interpret all contract documents

  • Develop and maintain owner and client relationships

  • Maintain flow of documentation to ensure prompt payments to Subcontractors (this includes Owner and Subcontractor change orders).

  • Identify and obtain permits as quickly as possible.

  • Select Subcontractors that are capable to perform the project.

  • Complete buyout timely and thoroughly.
    What You Need for this Position

MUST HAVE:

  • A 4 year year degree

  • Project Management experience

  • Previously managed projects with values of $1MM - $10MM

  • Commercial (retail, office space, hotel, hospitality) experience

  • Multi-family work

  • Strong experience working with Superintendents, Estimators, Sub-Contractors, Owners, Developers, Architects, field personnel and other professionals in the construction industry.

This individual takes campaigns from the initiating phase through final closing, which includes the planning, coordination, creation, and launch of project deliverables. The Project Manager serves as a main point of contact for those campaigns and works with the Account Manager to communicate and facilitate a strategically aligned implementation plan across multiple internal and external cross-functional teams. He or she also defines project scope and objectives and develops detailed project budgets, work plans, schedules, and status reports. The Project Manager is responsible for ongoing budget management, including revenue recognition and client invoicing activities. This role conducts project meetings and ensures adherence to quality standards. He or she is fully accountable for the team's commitment to delivering the highest quality work, on time and on budget, to meet and ultimately exceed our client's expectations. Essential Functions * Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget * Provide day-to-day management of internal cross-functional teams, as well as subcontractors, to ensure successful delivery of the campaign/project * Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders, during project initiation * Develop detailed project budgets as part of the business development process * Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress * Plan, schedule, and monitor work to meet time, budget, and quality targets in accordance with relevant guidelines * Monitor project budgets, including transactions, on a weekly basis * Collaborate with finance team members on revenue recognition/invoicing processes * Provide guidance to the internal team to ensure appropriate stakeholders are involved at the necessary stages of the project * Manage client reviews/approval processes for all project deliverables * Communicate directly with the client and/or client stakeholders as needed regarding project details * Report and escalate issues and risks to Program Directors as needed and take action to provide solutions * Perform risk planning and mitigation to minimize project risks * Participate in project audits, ensuring adherence to project management methodology Additional Functions * Attend and contribute to department meetings and trainings * Help create service or departmental standard operating procedures * Participate in the continuing professional development program * This position may require overnight/weekend travel (up to 10%) * This position is required to work occasional nonstandard work hours (up to 20%) in accordance with project needs, deadlines, deliverables, and urgent client requests Education and Experience * 3+ years of project management experience * 2+ years of experience in budget development/management * Bachelor's degree or equivalent related business experience * Experience leading project teams required * Experience in successfully independently managing two to three different cross-functional areas and two to three different project deliverable types * Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office * Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills * Demonstrated intermediate knowledge of Project Management Institute methodology; PMP certification preferred * Experience in the healthcare or pharmaceutical industry or agency preferred but not required Competencies * Demonstrated strong ability to manage time, work in a collaborative way, adapt to change, act in a professional manner, manage stress, and display the highest standards of professionalism * A commitment to conducting business according to the highest ethical standards , as demonstrated by a strong knowledge of industry legal compliance guidelines, organizational ethics, and individual ethics and integrity * Ability to communicate effectively , as demonstrated by strong verbal skills, creative writing skills, presentation skills, and technical and scientific writing skills and a strong ability to influence and impact others through meaningful and persuasive delivery * Applies the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to achieve continuous quality improvement , as exhibited by strong accuracy, problem solving, quality management, and client-readiness behaviors * Leadership skills , as demonstrated by a strong ability to develop vision and strategy, develop and empower people, manage change, build relationships and influence others, build and lead effective teams, and achieve results * A wide range of healthcare-related industry expertise , including a strong level of client knowledge, clinical and scientific knowledge, research and outcomes measurement expertise, medical education, and consulting and brand planning expertise * Vision and innovation , as displayed by a strong ability to think critically and creatively, engage in visioning, and approach business opportunities in an enterprising way * Strong project management skills , including the ability to provide project leadership and apply applicable methodologies to manage all project stages including initiating, planning, executing, monitoring and controlling, and closing a project DWA Healthcare Communications Group Carmel IN
