In this role, you will be a member our rapidly growing program and project management team. The PM team's standard is to 'manage each project like we own it.' We are unique in that we supplement our program and project management services with in-house cost management and project scheduling, in a fully integrated package. We utilize this competitive advantage to meet client needs efficiently, expertly, and ethically all of which, together, has enabled us to achieve sustained success.

We are currently looking for a Project Manager specializing in healthcare to manage projects in Washington DC / Baltimore Metro areas. This opportunity will be an on-site Owner's Representative position with a region-wide healthcare provider. This role will lead project scope development and manage the design and construction of projects valued at $5M and greater.

Responsibilities

  • Formulate the design, bid and construction phase development for the client.

  • Review deliverables prepared by team before passing to client.

  • Define and establish project objectives, scope of work and develop overall project budgets.

  • Manage day-to-day operational aspects of a project and scope.

  • Prepare for engagement reviews and quality assurance procedures.

  • Lead the efforts of the project team regarding approvals from applicable agencies.

  • Provide update/status reporting for work in progress including costs and schedules.

  • Consider Client's overall master plan to ensure there are no project conflicts affecting sequencing of work and long-term viability for the renovations and expansion.

  • Devise bidding strategies including bid packaging and encouraging contractors to participate in the bid process.

  • Conduct pre-bid and job start meetings.

  • Manage the project in design, construction and occupancy phases.

  • Administer the construction contracts.

  • Approve pay requests of consultants and contractors.

  • Conduct all job site meetings and prepare meeting minutes.

  • Implement all applicable policies and procedures for the projects.

  • Conduct close out activities and assist with building occupancy.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in architecture, engineering or construction management is preferred. A combination of education and work experience will also be considered in lieu of degree.

  • 3-5 years' experience in all aspects of Project Delivery, Managing, Planning, Design, and Construction processes with a special emphasis on healthcare facilities.

  • Experience on large capital healthcare projects.

  • AIA, LEED, PMP, CCM or other related accreditations preferred.

  • Must be an excellent communicator with superior organizational skills and leadership qualities.

The position is also responsible for delivering enterprise-wide projects on time and on budget utilizing PMO best practices. The Project Manager is accountable to the Director of Integration and supports multiple stakeholders through the control and coordination of projects as assigned. RESPONSIBILITIES: * Plan, organize, and manage to execution enterprise-wide Integration Project through Merger/Acquisition and Construction, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget and meet or exceed expectations. * Deploy project management best-practices to define project plans, keep projects on track (e.g., budget, timeline) and ensure efficient project operations. * Coordinate flow of work between cross-disciplinary teams; to ensure efficient project execution. * Proactively measure and monitor project progress, identifying and managing project risks and issues, and employing mitigation tactics, issue resolution and/or escalation procedures as appropriate. * Provide on-going communication regarding project status and resource allocation to stakeholders of the project, including senior management through various formats including meetings, presentations, e-mail or other agreed upon means. * Devise alternative action plans, for projects at risk of either missing budget or timeline. * Lead continuous improvement efforts such as schedule and resource alignment. * Drive development and maintenance of project artifacts, communications, action plans, risk management plans, agendas, minutes, and correspondence. * Contribute to the development of optimized PMO processes and templates as needed, training stakeholders on best practices. Requirements * Bachelor's Degree * Five Years of Integration work experience in a fast-paced environment, balancing and executing multiple projects, preferably Merger & Acquisition experience * Experience in the Energy, Manufacturing, Construction Industries preferred * PMP Certification required * Demonstrated effectiveness in leading, training and influencing others, without direct authority. * Experience managing multiple initiatives simultaneously, prioritizing and monitoring tasks across all projects. * Theoretical and practical project management knowledge, including knowledge of project management techniques and tools * Proficiency working with Microsoft Office Suite and other collaboration tools. * Proficiency in project management software tools (ie, Smartsheet, Microsoft Project) * Strong verbal and written communication skills with a demonstrated ability to work cooperatively with all levels of staff Compensation will consist of a competitive base salary and bonus.
