The Role

605 is looking for a Scrum Master / Project Manager to help our engineering team deliver 605 Software Product initiatives. You will join a dynamic and fast-paced environment and work with cross-functional teams to facilitate Engineering team collaboration and roll-out of products that deliver the companys vision and strategy. Project Managers within the Engineering department will be responsible for ensuring the day to day coordination of projects involving Engineering and any parties external to the Engineering department. This is a contract position with the opportunity to convert to full-time.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Engage with Stakeholders on a need basis (Legal, Data Solutions, Product, Marketing etc)
  • Responsible for dealing with operational issues & removing impediments
  • Facilitate dailies and all Scrum ceremonies- stand-ups, retrospective, schedule meetings, demo and decision-making processes in order to ensure communication and efficiency of the development team
  • Provide Support, administration on Jira systems/Confluence for all of business needs
  • Collaborate with the team to make sure priorities are well understood and the Jira board is cleaned and up to date
  • Monitor & manage project risk
  • Track things like story point burndown, epic burndown etc. Forecast these metrics.
  • Provide summaries of team work at internal sprint reviews, and bring up issues the team has to management
  • Schedule, coordinate, and manage releases with Product Manager on release planning and drive the Engineering team to continuous delivery


Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • At least 4 years of experience as a project manager on a software development project
  • Experience in agile environments, Jira, Confluence
  • Strong organization and communication skills
  • Curiosity, interest in learning and strong problem solving skills
  • Solutions oriented thinking

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the US television industry
  • Experience in the advertising industry
  • Basic understanding of any of the following Technologies is a plus (Airflow ETL, EMR, Spark,Splunk, open source APIs)
  • Comfortable working with both in house and external developers/technology
  • Bachelors degree or higher
  • Certified ScrumMaster

The term of the contract is 3 to 6 months, with possibility of extension.</p><p>The Finance/Accounting Manager will be assisting in the day to day global accounting functions and financial reporting activities including the preparation of global consolidated financials. The Candidate must have the ability to understand the details in a functional area as well as the ability to summarize and communicate those details to the senior management within the Company.</p><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><p>• Assist in timely month-end closes, reconcile and maintain general ledger account reconciliation; resolve identified items in a timely fashion. </p><p>• Compile monthly reports of actual results against budget and provide analytical variance analysis. </p><p>• Reconciliation of intercompany payables and receivables. </p><p>• Coordinate and complete special projects and analysis as determined by management. </p><p>• Providing accounting guidance to the team when called upon. <br></p><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><p>• Advanced skills in Excel with knowledge of spreadsheet functionality including v-look-up, pivot tables, and charts. A test will be administered as part of the interview process. </p><p>• Demonstrated strong understanding of GAAP accounting methodologies and principles required including the consolidation of over 15 global subsidiaries. </p><p>• Ability to prioritize multiple/concurrent tasks, to solve problems, and to meet deadlines in a fast-paced and dynamic environment with minimal supervision is required. </p><p>• Ability to communicate and interact professionally and effectively through written and oral communication with clients and coworkers. </p><p>• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance required. </p><p>• Demonstrated proficiency in NetSuite preferred, not required. </p><p>• Must be a self-starter and possess the ability to work in a team environment. </p><p>• CPA preferred, not required.</p> Axiomsl New York NY
