Job Description



Responsibilities:

Manages, & coordinates activities of projects to ensure that goals or objectives of projects are accomplished within prescribed time frame and budget parameters.

Provides oversight to lead discipline Drafters, Engineers, project Coordinators and procurement representative assigned to the project.

Provide Project status reports including spreadsheets, memos and scheduling documents to other Customers as required.

Monitors and coordinates the execution of the various Projects and processes relating to client contracted agreements for project management and tenant improvements.

Resolves problems that arise due to inclement weather, emergencies, change orders, or other issues that may cause delays.

Qualifications and

Education Requirements:

Must have extensive knowledge of MS Excel and QuickBooks

Possess strong communication skills, both written and oral

Minimum 1 year of experience supporting multiple PMs and Projects under PMO --- PMP highly preferred. Ability to identify and utilize all available resources to the fullest extend at all times.

Bilingual English / Spanish a major plus (Must have full domain of the English language)

Comfortable working in a multiple disciplinary team environment.

The HCA Gulf Coast Division is looking for a Division Director - Project Management. Responsibilities: * Supports the Senior Vice President of Strategic Planning and Business Intelligence in the development of the annual project management strategic plan for the Division, market, and individual hospital level, as deemed appropriate. * Supports the execution of the project management strategic plan. * Identifies, plans, and organizes strategic planning activities at the Division, market, and individual hospital level * Works collaboratively with Division and Hospital Executive leadership to develop, document, and coordinate mid- and long-range strategic plans * Facilitates frequent updates to executive leadership (on goals and progress), related to the highest priority strategic initiatives across the Division and across hospitals * Leads and fully executes on quarterly reviews of business plans, for all Division major strategies and for all hospital business plans * Tracks and Develops project overviews and monitors project schedules within the defined Project Management systems and tools * Keeps management advised on project progress, potential issues, obstacles, conflicts or challenges. Identifies barriers to project success; negotiates through barriers with major stakeholders to keep progress on track * Coordinates bi-monthly Leadership Council meeting, including content management, engaging and prioritizing key speaker and presenters, and agenda management * Develops and manages project scope, budgets, timelines, resources and quality of deliverables. * Collaborates with key stakeholders to champion change throughout the organization, incorporating lessons learned into future projects to ensure desired results. * Authors strategic project documents such as Project or Program Charters, Assessments, Education and/or Communication plans, detailed project plans, and provides project updates to business owners and leaders at multiple levels within the Division, market, and individual hospital level, as deemed appropriate. * Proactively identifies and resolves project issues; manages project/program deliverables and mitigates project risks. * Coordinates, facilitates and manages Rapid Design Sessions within the organization with up to 100 attendees. * Elicits requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, task and workflow analysis. * Critically evaluates information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs. * Drives and challenges project stakeholders on their assumptions of how they will successfully execute their plans. * Performs business process modeling to improve process efficiency and quality. * Supports the prioritization of the project management work based upon the needs of the business and in accordance and alignment with organization strategy. * Proactively manages the deliverables and change management processes for assigned projects. * Builds and maintains strong, effective working relationships with a variety of stakeholders throughout the Division, market, and individual hospital level, as deemed appropriate. * Identifies the learning and development needs for the project team and works with central education team to prioritize education development * Ensures standardization and consistency across projects. * Communicates timely and effectively in a matrix environment. * Facilitates decision-making that is required for progress on projects/programs. * Develops a culture of high performance and continuous improvement that values learning and a commitment to quality. * Practices and adheres to the "Code of Conduct" philosophy and "Mission and Value Statement".
