CliniComp, Intl. seeks an experienced Project Manager who will apply technical project management expertise to oversee key internal and external projects from concept through implementation including initiation, requirements, design, build, & test and support. The Project Manager is responsible for leading the overall definition, planning and delivery of technical projects on time, within budget and within scope. The PM plays an important role in our service delivery to customers by driving accountability of project teams, facilitating design decisions and successfully delivering product releases on time.
The Project Manager (PM) oversees the planning, documentation, implementation, and tracking of all aspects of each project while working closely with management to make sure the scope and direction of the project stay on target. The PM will also prepare and present progress reports for management; collect, document and archive all required development artifacts; and ensure that technologies are integrated properly.
Strong candidates will have demonstrated project management expertise in the software development space (preferably in healthcare) and experience with clinical workflow. Our ideal candidate possesses strong technical skills, great communication skills, and is astute at motivating teams to achieve results in a fast-paced, multi-customer, multi-project environment. Competencies: Knowledge of PM principles and practices. Knowledge of healthcare industry and software development life cycle. Ability to analyze complex contracts and to create implementation plans. Strong project management skills with the ability to clearly communicate technical concepts.
Work Environment: Exposure to various business environments with moderate noise levels created by computers and/or printers and light traffic; use of standard office equipment. This position is located in our headquarters in San Diego, CA.
Physical Demands: Ability to sit for long period of time; manual dexterity to operate equipment and tools; vision requirements include ability to adjust focus, depth perception, peripheral vision, distance vision and close vision; stand, walk, stoop, squat, reach to or below shoulder level, lift, carry, push, pull, and use hands to handle and feel; climb and reach above shoulder level; lift/carry up to 20 pounds. Ability to work long, early morning, late night and weekend hours.
Travel: Travel at least 25% of the time. Must be able operate a motor vehicle and have a valid drivers license. Must have a valid drivers license and ability to obtain a US Passport.
Security Clearance: The start of the security clearance process is up to the discretion of the company and may begin no later than the successful completion of the first 90 days of employment, and commensurate with job requirements and the needs of the business.
