Position Summary

• This role is responsible for the management of key organizational projects throughout the project life cycle by following ECU Health's Project Management Framework.

• Management of organizational projects ranging from small to medium project size and low to moderate complexity under direct supervision of a more seasoned project or program manager. The projects will be managed utilizing the PM framework and methodology (Waterfall, Agile & Hybrid) guidelines to deliver initiatives on schedule and on budget while meeting the needs of the project sponsor units.

• Projects may be cross-functional in nature and may require participation across multiple business units.

• Responsible for building project plan to work breakdown structure (WBS) level with team participation.

• Responsible for creating and managing project budgets.

• Responsible for managing issues, risks, decisions and assumptions.

Minimum Requirements

• High school diploma (or equivalent) or higher

• 5+ years of professional Project Management experience leading and executing projects that are focused in a department or individual operating unit required

• PMP certification preferred

• Healthcare experience preferred
