The Engagement Manger will have a key role with the IQVIA Govt Solutions Real World Insights (RWI) team. He/she will serve as a project manager overseeing support provided on assigned projects in support of the RWI projects. They are expected to take on different levels of responsibility depending on their skills, the size and complexity of projects and the other resources available in the team so a flexible, enthusiastic and professional approach is essential.

The Engagement Manger will have frequent contact with the Senior Program Manager, Principal Investigators, subcontractors, and IQVIA staff and is responsible for planning and managing all support for the assigned projects, including monitoring work flow, progress reporting, identifying and assigning staff, budget tracking, coordinating technical and processing support, and obtaining other required resources. He/she will perform active quality assurance to ensure high quality work delivered on time.

General responsibilities

  • Plan, conduct, and coordinate the application of information system techniques across the AppNucleus Platform.

  • Manage and set the strategy for the AppNucleus product, monitor and assess the total addressable market, and respond to internal and external mobile solution queries.

  • Design and Architect secure mHealth solutions for Clinical Trials, Patient Support, Patient Engagement, and Telemedicine for both Commercial, Federal, and Military Healthcare.

  • Work with Solution Manager to design and architect infrastructure (on-premise, cloud, and hybrid) to support deployments in Clinical Trials, Patient Support, Patient Engagement, and Telemedicine for both Commercial, Federal, and Military Healthcare.

  • Develop relationships with partners, clients while managing the delivery on existing contracts.

  • Provide Subject Matter Expertise to facilitate workflows and functionality within solutions. Participate in systems development and maintenance.

  • Conduct analysis of complex data processing applications and prepare feasibility studies to evaluate user needs for new or revised systems.

  • Defines system objectives and prepares systems design specifications to meet user requirements and satisfy interface problems.

  • Performs day-to-day management of contract.


  • Education: Bachelor's of Science degree or related discipline with 12 years of experience.

  • MBA/MHA/MPH/PhD/PharmD education in public health, health informatics, health services research, or a related areas

  • Prefer supervisory and management experience on projects, including proven capabilities and communication skills to successfully interact with clients and partners.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage numerous complex and time-critical activities simultaneously, including technical/data processing support activities.

  • Excellent oral and written skills
