About the Role You will:
Manage complex infrastructure design and construction of charging infrastructure at our customer sites throughout the US and Canada. This includes but is not limited to:
Work closely with our internal design team, internal customer program management, and the customer to determine the best charging solutions.
Work closely with our internal design team to coordinate all design elements of the projects.
Responsible for determining, tracking and meeting project budgets.
Responsible for on time delivery of projects and project milestones.
Work closely with vendors and internal purchasing team to order and track key equipment including chargers.
Manage interface and project deliverables from electrical utilities.
Provide mentoring and leadership for less experienced project managers on the team. This role has the potential to become a management position in the short term as the team grows.
Prepare infrastructure estimates for customer RFPs and grant proposals. Includes, site visits, subcontractor and vendor bid solicitation, and preparing bid documents.
Primary liaison with utility companies throughout their upgrade process to insure timely delivery. Includes monitoring or providing inputs for utility strategic planning, design, schedules, installation and commissioning.

This position will manage large Proterra internal project a company sites in South Carolina and California.
This position work location is flexible but will based at a Proterra site in Burlingame, CA, Los Angeles, CA or Greenville, SC. Some work "work from home" flexibility is possible.
In this position you will report to the Director of Infrastructure in Burlingame, CA.
