Cerner and Adventist Health are strategically aligned to improve quality of care and expand the number of patients served in our communities. This requires adaptable project management that can orchestrate large-scale projects quickly and with a high degree of accuracy and organization.

As a Project Manager in ITWorks, you will provide day-to-day management of projects including risk assessment, issue and task management, and stakeholder communications. Your role leads discussions to overcome project barriers, obtain requirements, achieve stakeholder alignment, and evaluate and determine objectives, goals, and scope. Utilizing your networking and collaboration skills, you will manage interdependencies, engage stakeholders and builders to work through difficult decisions, and escalate high priority risks and issues to leadership. Strong communication skills with all audience types (analyst to executive), organization, and a keen attention to detail and interconnectedness will be critical to your success.

Additional Information

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or related field; or equivalent relevant work experience

  • At least 2 years of project management work experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification

  • At least 2 years healthcare IT experience


  • Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations

  • Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position

  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned

Responsibilities * Act as Owner's Representative with primary responsibility for all phases of various related projects/program. * Assist in the development and management of the project strategic plans and program initiatives to meet the goals and needs of the Owner. * Manage and coordinate all aspects of the project, including the budget, schedule, operational needs, procedures, Client Standards, sustainability design, QA/QC program requirements, as well as individual roles and responsibilities. * Coordinate with the Architect, Contractor, and other project team members to meet the project objectives and resolve issues. * Assist in the documentation submission of statutory project documentation and approvals related to the project work. * Review, understand, and manage procedures for handling changes to the contract documents, monthly valuations, drawing submissions, change orders, substitutions, etc. * Document the status of the project, all meetings and correspondence as a means to properly communicate within the project team and develop the project documents. Qualifications * BS in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a closely related field is highly preferred. * 5-10 years' of experience in the construction project management. * Multi-family and/or Senior Living Facility experience preferred. * Ability to review contractor cost estimates and value engineering proposals for validity. * Ability to effectively interface with all levels of management and staff across organizational lines, including other client business units. * Requires excellent oral and written communication skills, as well as business presentation skills.
