Role Summary:We are looking for an experienced Project & Program Manager to drive execution of both R&D and business led projects. These projects span from frontend research & NPI through to manufacturing (e.g. cost-down, yield, throughput). You will help to execute the projects, continuously assess and mitigate risks, work in a cross functional global team, ensuring accurate reporting horizontally and vertically within the organization, and execute all other project & program management activities.

Essential Responsibilities:
Project planning, specification and proposal writing

  • Reporting and tracking project resource and budget allocation, both internally and within subcontractors

  • Maintaining a driving rhythm within both R&D and cross functional groups to deliver projects

  • Acting as a bridge amongst various GE sites globally and making sure that there is a coherence in the teams

  • Liaising with and working with Suppliers and our CMO to ensure seamless production and maintenance of quality

  • Leading cross-functional program activities for Cell and Gene Therapy projects with responsibility for timely completion within budget

  • Managing and optimizing project plans, product/project risk, project budgets, and resources/task assignments

  • Working closely with all support functions, effectively facilitating cross-functional decision making to deliver effective and timely new product development process results

  • Ensuring compliance with Design History File (DHF) and other QMS requirements

  • Managing customer critical-to-quality (CTQ) objectives, regulatory requirements, schedules, and program risks and making decisions based on business objectives

  • Provide periodic stakeholder communications and escalating concerns and issues as necessary

  • Aware of and comply with the GEHC Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations as they apply to this job type/position

  • Identifying and managing project & program risks and collaboratively working on program risks with cross functional teams

  • Being part of the GE CG&T project management group to help improving PM methodologies and processes while working on designated project/s,

. 5+ years' experience as a Project Manager or in a technical role in a product development environment;

  • Experience in regulated industries highly desirable, preferably in Life Sciences

  • Bachelor's degree in a scientific, engineering or technical discipline

  • In-depth understanding of working to ISO9001 and ISO13485 minimum

  • Expert knowledge of Microsoft Project and Microsoft Office Programs

  • Highly developed analytical skills

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Experience in running projects with over $5M budget and demonstrated successful project closures

Desired Characteristics: PMI Project Management certification

  • Proven ability to deliver large and complex projects

  • Ability to converse with a broad spectrum of personalities, and possessing strong interpersonal skills

  • Fast learner, willingness to adapt to new environments

  • Willingness to travel between GE and supplier sites

  • Subject matter expertise at least in one of the following technical areas; SW, HW, Disposable, Biology

  • Candidates with strong technical background in combination with strong Project Management skills & experiences will be preferred

Project Management Manager II About the Role: Responsible for supporting the profitable and sustainable growth of Boston Scientific through the management of key Field Inventory projects. Specific responsibilities include business analysis, strategic and operational planning, process improvement, organizational design, and development of new capabilities Regionally. Your Responsibilities Include: * Identifies Field Inventory Management initiatives in support of the overall business strategy: Works with business leaders to identify and prioritize strategic initiatives that support profitable and sustainable growth. * Manages projects on behalf of the Field Inventory Center of Excellence: Develops project plans outlining work plans, timelines, roles and resources; Identifies and leads cross-functional project team comprised of project managers, functional experts and local country managers; Manages team progress to ensure achievement of all milestones and deliverables; Provides updates to senior management and all stakeholders of progress through frequent communications of findings at regular intervals via reports and meetings. * Develops recommendations: Develops and delivers project recommendations to senior management and all stakeholders; Presents changes in business strategy including key markets, distribution channels, processes and organization; Develops implementation strategy. * Manages implementation of projects: Develops implementation plan outlining work plans, timelines, roles and resources; Identifies and leads implementation team including local country representatives; Works with local country and functional team members to ensure that all supporting infrastructure including program guidelines, processes, training programs, organizational structure and new roles are developed and communicated. * Shares Best Practices Globally: As a member of the Field Inventory COE, new capabilities will be shared across the organization with the intent to scale where applicable. * Lead continuous improvement efforts and adopt industry best practices to enhance the tools and systems for managing field inventory; Serve as the regional leader for implementation. * Leads Quality initiatives: Guides the local Leadership Team to maintain full compliance with the BSC Quality System (Corporate Quality Manual and Procedures) and the local quality requirements under the initiative of International Quality Director; Participates in driving quality awareness in every employee, while guiding the local organization towards improved performance and customer-oriented initiatives.
