Job Description

The Project Manager, Cell Therapy and Cell Engineering Facility (CTCEF) reports directly to the Director of the Cell Therapy and Cell Engineering Facility (CTCEF). You will lead the delivery of various projects with both internal and external stakeholders to support the mission of the CTCEF within the defined scope of time and budget.

You will:

  • Support the management and execution of projects through all phases of the project life cycle, including initiation, needs assessment, requirements and specifications, implementation, and maintenance to approved budget, scope and schedule.

  • Collaborate with investigators internally and externally to ensure appropriate/timely responses.

  • Engage and advise faculty leadership, administration and external collaborators throughout the project, obtaining critical decisions and guidance, and ensuring continuous departmental and organizational commitment.

  • Help manage risk throughout the project life cycle and makes contingency plans to manage issues that pose risk to budget, timely delivery, or functionality.

  • Help with effectively scoping projects and establishing metrics that will be used to measure success.

  • Develop and maintain structured project plans, action items and meeting minutes.

  • Set project management timelines and manages stakeholder expectations, proactively resolving conflict to successfully meet project timelines and deliverables.

  • Lead meetings of project workgroups, including facilitating discussion around project

  • Manage resource planning to ensure adequate distribution of work and overall effectiveness.

  • Manage and tracks resource utilization relative to overall project budget and timeline to ensure adequate distribution of work and overall effectiveness.

  • Assist in negotiating new research contracts as needed.

  • Coordinates the submission, revision and execution of CDAs, NDAs, MTAs.

  • Assist with the preparation and submission of progress reports.

  • Assist with the preparation and review of INDs and other regulatory documents

  • Coordinate and perform collection of data, assist with analysis of quantitative and qualitative data.

  • Assist with compilation, analysis and review of data for conference presentations, abstracts submission and manuscript publication. Help develop research presentations and posters for conferences or seminars.

  • Create presentations for progress reports, including relevant visual presentation materials and written narrative as needed.

You need:

  • Bachelor's Degree with 4-7 years of professional Project Management experience

  • Excellent work-related skills and the ability to apply them, while continually seeking ways to improve.

Job Description The Center for Immune Cell Therapies (CICT) at MSK is seeking a talented experienced Quality Assurance (QA) Manager. The QA Manager develops the strategy of the establishment, development and implementation of the quality control and quality assurance service in the Center for Immune Cell Therapies. The QA Manager will proactively initiate the establishment of the QA/QC standards for the GMP compliant product manufacturing and release based in his/her independent opinion and expertise. You will: * Develop and administer the Quality Assurance Program for CICT to ascertain the CICT GMP compliance. * Supervise the QA staff in CICT. * Lead the strategic planning and development of the Quality Assurance System in CICT * Develop QA Management Program of CICT * Bring in the expertise and leads the establishment of the documentation system of all areas of the Quality Assurance Management in CICT * Lead and ascertain the development, implementation and monitoring of all key elements of the Quality Assurance as required by regulatory agencies for the CICT QA program including quarantine and product release, standard operating procedures (SOPs), validation and process development protocols and reports, stability program, training program, document change control etc. as well as deviations according to good manufacturing practice (GMP) and FDA approved guidelines * Establish the roles and responsibilities for the QA staff in CICT * Participate fully in the development of plans and programs for the CICT facility to ensure efficient, effective manufacturing operations that include the production of cellular clinical products for in-house Phase I/II clinical trials. * Assist Principal Investigators (PIs), requesting services from CICT in production of the investigational drugs, with preparation of documents, including the CMC section of INDs for cell products to be generated by CICT group, submitted to the FDA. * Coordinate and develop on site cGMP training for CICT personnel required for cell processing and use of designated GMP space. * Ensure maintenance of training records for all CICT staff. * Review and close-out investigations and product complaints for CICT products in a timely manner * Maintain and enhance professional growth and development of the CICT QA staff through keeping informed of all FDA regulations related to good manufacturing practice and biosafety procedures. * Assure quality of each step of production of cells products manufactured by CICT in GMP facility according to current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP), current Good Tissue Practice (cGTP) and approved SOPs. * Assure proper documentation of all steps of manufacturing and quality control in the CICT to conform with FDA regulations (21 CFR part 11) as to the documentation of activities within the facility, from inventories to production to final product qualification and deposition, training of personnel etc. You Need: * Master's Degree with 10+ years of regulatory and compliance experience. * Experience in the biopharmaceutical industry or regulatory agencies of supervision of the Quality Assurance and Quality Control service. * Experience in preparation and submission of the original applications and amendments of the INDs, CMCs and other documents to FDA.
