Job Description:

CACI is seeking a Project Manager to fill our operations manager role in a mid-sized program within CACI's Aerospace Solutions Group in San Antonio, TX. You will establish and implement strategies associated with day-to-day operations across multiple disciplines. The focus of the role is on long-term strategies (e.g., 3-5 years) that will support the organization's growth strategies.

What You'll Get to Do:

  • Works to influence others to accept program's view/practices and agree/accept new concepts, practices and approaches.

  • Conducts briefings to senior leaders both within and outside of the program.

  • Responsible for communicating with parties external to the organization, which may include customers or vendors.

  • Address daily challenges that arise from operating in a highly-matrixed organization. Problems faced are frequently complex and require broad-based solutions that impact multiple areas of the organization.

  • Develop/Review/Approve internal processes to optimize organizational efficiencies.

  • Responsible for improving upon entire processes or systems, leveraging on personal past experiences and in-depth understanding of best practices in the marketplace that may improve the competitive position of the organization.

  • Support proposal activity related to the program or project, including business plans, work specifications, and budgets for scope expansion and new business.

  • Managing organizational resources to support multiple concurrent engineering teams.

More About the Role:

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the site to include overall management of support organizations and establishing the most effective, efficient use of facility and other resources

  • Direct efforts of cross-competency teams.

  • Oversee contractor personnel's project operations by developing procedures, planning and directing execution of the contractual, technical, programming, maintenance, and administrative support effort, and monitoring and reporting progress.

  • Manage acquisition and employment of project resources and control financial and administrative aspects of the project.

  • Strong Financial management background, with experience in managing multiple Government contracting types.

  • Significant background in developing schedules in support of multiple customers with a demonstrated capability to establish priorities and accurately forecast necessary resources to meet organizational goals.

You'll Bring These Qualifications:

  • A Secret Clearance Must be Obtainable (US Citizen)

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or other related technical field

  • Seven years of experience in managing multiple functional areas concurrently for businesses providing products and services to DoD organizations, to include functional engineering management, quality programs, configuration management, and security and facilities.

  • Experience in directing low-rate production and electronic manufacturing operations

  • Detail-oriented and capable of multi-tasking as required to support a range of recurring responsibilities

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

  • Master's Degree.

  • Project Management Professional (PMP), or Program Management Professional (PgMP) certification, or Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) Program Management certification.

  • Significant, relevant experience with AS-9100-certified programs

  • Strong background in inventory management and production control processes.
