The Project Engineer develops and installs the capital aspects of assigned projects.
Develop and execute capital projects to meet scope, cost, and schedule, and ensure suitability for purpose whilst meeting safety standards and completing agreed deliverables. All projects must be executed with a high regard for safety during design and construction, and be executed with a high regard for safety during design and construction. Projects must follow chemical industry Process Hazard Analysis requirements, Management of Change, Design Safety Review, and Pre-Startup Safety Review processes. In addition some of the responsibilities of the project engineer are to:
Ensure project scopes are clearly define/develop, negotiate, and complete with agreed deliverables.
Ensure projects follow chemical industry Process Hazard Analysis requirements, Management of Change, Design Safety Review, and Pre-Startup Safety Review processes.
Ensure Projects follow the defined elements of Process Safety Management [PSM]
Communicate Lessons Learned and Best Practices
BSc Degree Engineering, Chemical or Mechanical
3-5 years in a chemical or related industry, or at an engineering management company, having specific experience in project management.
Site supervision in a construction environment
