Communication and Change Manager
Works collaboratively with Change Management Lead and develops a variety of supporting communication materials for existing change and communication plans through multiple vehicles aimed at primary stakeholders.Provides change management and communication support as directed.Provides expertise and creativity in developing compelling and engaging materials, processes and programs in partnership with SMEs and Change Management Lead.
1. Provide change expertise, collaborate and support the delivery of change strategies and tactics which support adoption and drive engagement of primary stakeholder groups.2. Execute or support the execution of 2018 go-live campaign communication activities by modifying key messaging as appropriate for the vehicle, drafting articles and other compelling, creative and concise pieces in partnership with appropriate SME and with consideration to stakeholder analysis and change lead approval.3.
Manage FAQ process ensuring alignment to program messages and stakeholder considerations. Consults with appropriate stakeholder to collect answer, drafts answer and obtain approval from appropriate SME. Collaborates with change lead to select FAQ(s) to highlight and executes on delivery through multiple vehicles.
Responds to questions forwarded by PMO through the Learning Solution Mailbox with existing FAQs or addresses through the FAQ process or sends one off to the appropriate SME.4. Manages version control and consolidation of the final communication materials, including power point presentations, FAQs, articles, and other pieces and ensures documents are stored in an organized manor in appropriate repository(s) (eg box account, learning portal, etc). Package communications, as needed, for Senders to distribute (eg embeds links, ensures next steps/actions are clear in broad communications to primary stakeholders).5. Assist in monitoring the communications plan and works with Senders to ensure communications is sent, providing expertise on how to post or utilize different communication vehicles.
Supports SMES in the drafting or completing necessary submission forms for communication vehicles owned by corporate communications.6. Provide communication support on the placement and visual representation of content on the learning portal to enhance the learning experience.7. Craft and distribute communication from Learning Solutions Mailbox and assist in the maintenance of distribution lists, scheduling and logistics for broad communications.8.
Attend meetings as instructed and capture communication/change notes and actions or content that needs to be aligned to key messages.Education and/or Experience:- Position requires a Bachelors degree in communications or proven communication experience in global business.- 5 - 7 Years experience in internal communications for executive and broad audiences inclusive of writing experience is required- 5-7 years experience in leading complex transformational change plans, strategies and implementation of change tactics.- Experience developing a change management strategy including identifying risks and anticipated points of resistance, and developing specific plans to mitigate or address the concerns.- Ability to quickly identify change impacts- Excellent active listening skills and ability to identify relevant information and simplify content, quickly understand implications and recommend change tactics to engage stakeholders- Position requires excellent written, presentation, oral communication and active listening skills- Experience in Learning Management systems or a global enterprise wide system implementation is preferred.- Position requires the ability to work both collaboratively and independently with internal stakeholders- Software: MS Word, MS Outlook, Excel (pivot tables & reporting), PowerPoint (presentations), & SharePoint (strongly preferred)EEO EmployerApex is an Equal Employment Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
