Oak Grove School District has a total student enrollment of approximately 8,800 students from grades TK-8. We have 18 school campuses along with a TK-8 Virtual Learning Academy (VLA). Six out of eighteen schools receive Title I funds.

The size of the schools range from approximately 730 students to 270 students. The percentage of English Learners is 29% representing 56 languages spoken in the District. Oak Grove School District's focus is driven by the LCAP (Local Control Accountability Plan) and school site-specific SPSA (Single Plan for Student Achievement) which identifies short, intermediate, and long-term goals.

First and foremost in all activities is the safety of students as well as student success in the areas of math and reading/language arts interwoven with science, social studies and visual and performing arts. Student performance goals have been integrated into the state and federal accountability systems. Annually, the LCAP and SPSA's are updated with our students, staff and various community groups in keeping with our core values, the vision, and the annual goals.

The District is located in the southeastern corner of San Jose, California bounded by Capitol Expressway to the north, Canoas Creek to the west, Bernal Road to the south and the foothills to the east. Oak Grove School District is looking for an experienced, detail driven Project Manager for our Bond Program oversight. The Project Manager, under the direct supervision of the Chief Operations Officer (COO), plans, manages, and coordinates District modernization and new construction projects.

Manages all phases of a project from the planning/programming phase through project close-out and certification. Assists COO in program/project management, critical path scheduling, constructability reviews, budgeting, cost estimating, and construction claims. Responsible for administrative operations relative to District construction and modernization projects.

Works independently on the daily operations as they relate to the modernization and construction projects at various school sites and properties adhering to federal, state and local regulations. Functions as a member of the District Leadership Team and participates in the formulation and implementation of District policies.
