The Project Manager oversees clinical project coordination and management for assigned studies, from startup to closeout, collaborate with major functional areas to identify and evaluate issues, implement effective and timely solutions and ensure project milestones are met.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Define the Scope of Work (SoW) and budget requirements for assigned studies.

  • Collaborate with all functional areas defined in the SoW to ensure measurable and actionable milestones.

  • Develop applicable timelines and plans through to execution of all milestones.

  • Evaluate and report milestone outcomes with applicable management.

  • Ensure project deliverables are on time, within budget, and at the required level of quality.

  • Communicate effectively with the Client and Site personnel.

  • Forecast financial requirements of assigned projects and compare to budget.

  • Negotiate, approve and maintain site level agreements/payments associated with assigned studies/projects

  • Explore opportunities to add value to projects and client needs.

  • Promote Company virtues of Integrity, Collaboration, Quality and Results.

Secondary Responsibilities

Maintains Quality Service and Departmental Standards by

  • Reading, understanding and adhering to organizational Standard Operating Procedures ("SOP")
  • Assisting in establishing and enforcing departmental standards

Contributes to team effort by

  • Working with internal staff to resolve issues

  • Exploring new opportunities to add value to organization and departmental processes

  • Helping others to achieve results

  • Performing other duties as assigned

Maintains Technical and Industry Knowledge by

  • Attending and participating in applicable company-sponsored training



Minimum Bachelor's Degree in communication, business, or related field

Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.


Minimum of 2 years of clinical research experience required.
