QBSI is looking for a strong Project Manager to work with our sales and professional services team to provide technical delivery of Professional Services solutions.
The Project Manager interfaces with the sales team to assist with sales efforts; provides support for customer training on PS solutions; defines, measures, analyzes & develops customer requirements and implements QBSI-Xerox solutions; is responsible for resolving application, software and connectivity problems requiring on-site customer support and for interfacing directly with vendor support reps to isolate and solve technical issues.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Analyzes and documents customer technical requirements
Develops and executes implementation plans for selected solutions and coordinates with Xerox, customer and third-party resources
Creates workflows and diagrams based on communications with customers, sales and professional service team members.
Understands customer requirements for support services; may recommend and deliver billable services as appropriate
Diagnoses and resolves application, software and connectivity problems requiring on-site support from technical operations
Partners with the Customer Services team to resolve problems and ensure customer satisfaction
May assist sales team by providing technical support in sales presentations and customized demonstrations
Responsible for ongoing personal skill development through the attainment of appropriate certifications and attendance at training
Provides ongoing fee-based post-implementation support as required
Requirements and Qualifications:
2-5 years of relevant experience in a technical role
Experience working with sales teams
Experience creating statements of work (SOWs) and working with previous workplans
Experience using VISIO or other process mapping tools to create detailed workflow diagrams and processes.
PMP certification a plus
A motivated self-starter, with a proven track record in solutions design, sales, implementation and support
Must be comfortable in the dynamic environment of a rapidly growing advanced solutions provider with a quickly expanding customer base
Must possess strong communication skills, including interacting with internal and external customers in a professional manner
Must be highly organized, and analytical, and will be able to eliminate support and sales obstacles through creative and adaptive approaches
Must be able to travel throughout support territory
