As a Barclays Project Manager, you will lead complex projects with high visibility within the organization, engage with members of senior leadership teams, serve as a mentor to junior Change Delivery Managers, and provide feedback to the PIO on process effectiveness and areas for improvement. You will manage execution risk effectively across a large project broken up into a number of workstreams and satisfy all our stakeholders consistently and transparently and apply the right processes, tools, methods and skills to manage the delivery.

What will you be doing?
Taking the lead on executing the change required to deliver against agreed programme objectives
Understanding that the 3-5 year plan and project is building towards it for the following Components: RFT and Market Risk Outcomes,Target IT Design,Target Business Process; etc
Developing and managing execution, optimising timelines, resources and ensuring a good focus on incremental and agile delivery
Having co-ordination and control of programme delivery, ensuring execution is interlocked across work streams
Accounting for the set up and management of programme governance, to manage working groups and management meetings as required to support delivery
Maintaining a future focus, looking ahead to ensure project risks and issues are managed effectively
Reviewing quality of project deliverables through the project lifecycle
Being accountable for all costs including costs, operational budgets and staffing requirements, ensuring ongoing costs and capitalisation meet MTP & budget requirements
What we're looking for:
Large scale programme management and governance experience
Ability to master and navigate new subject domains quickly
Experience of working with multiple senior stakeholders across Business, Technology, Operations and Group
Experience with Functions i.e. Risk and Strategy
Skills that will help you in the role:
Good social, communication, presentation and influencing skills
Integrity and trustworthiness in order to maintain the team's reputation and standing
Confidence to deal with multiple stakeholders in different clusters, some of a more senior level
Excellent PC skills including Excel, PowerPoint and Word
