As a Project Manager at AvidXchange, you will be responsible for managing client software implementations. This will include accurately forecasting your project dates as well as detailed risk analysis. You will work with smart and passionate people
to deliver results that have a direct impact on the company's bottom line. You will also be a key contributor to coaching and mentoring your teammates. You will be challenged to excel and lead alongside the brightest talent in the industry and be rewarded for your achievements.
Duties and responsibilities
Managing large, complex projects that may require onsite client implementation.
Managing projects in a complex, dynamic environment, with the ability to pivot effectively based on the changing requirements of your clients.
Ensuring your projects are documented appropriately to mitigate risk and delivered on time.
Leveraging problem solving and influencing skills to ensure project plans deliver on intent.
Partnering cross-functionally to provide subject matter expertise related to our products and client feedback.
Building relationships and collaborating with key stakeholders to ensure delivery of commitments.
Organizing and managing your projects in a way that ensures optimal client experiences.
Balancing competing priorities, complex situations, and tight deadlines.
Potentially managing 3-5 direct reports
Desired Skills and Competencies
A proven track record of excellent project management and client relationship skills.
A passion for coaching and mentoring your teammates through an exemplary leadership style.
Excellent communication and partnership skills, which are essential for interacting and communicating with key stakeholders at all levels across the company to manage, inform, and influence outcomes.
Technical aptitude is a must, understanding the basic database relationships and terminology.
Proven track record of time management and multitasking skills to be able to ensure that tasks get completed on time.
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
At least 5 Years of Project Management experience or equivalent
Accounting background a plus, but not a requirement
