The Project Manager manages a pool of clients through the implementation process of the web-based business intelligence application. The Technical Project Manager manages the client relationship, sets and executes against project milestones, and manages client satisfaction and engagement throughout the implementation lifecycle. Technical Project Managers integrate and transform institutions' data into easy-to-use dashboards and reports that help illustrate performance improvement opportunities.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Set and execute against project milestones for a portfolio of clients

  • Design and lead implementation strategy based on nature and accessibility of client data

  • Partner with client staff, and potentially third-party vendors, to extract data

  • Devise creative solutions to accommodate partial data sets

  • Analyze client data to identify immediate improvement opportunities

  • Master the functionality of the business intelligence tool and develop expertise in product terrain

  • Foster executive level relationships within the institution

  • Facilitate client calls and in person meetings

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experienc

  • 2 years of project management or coordinator experience

  • Experience presenting to and/or facilitating conversations with executive level audience

  • Proven experience in solving technical issues and translating the resolution to a non-technical audience

  • Experience working with large data sets, performing quantitative analysis, identifying trends, and making recommendations to clients

  • Willingness to travel up to 10% domestically

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with analytic tools (Excel, SQL, Access, SAP)

  • Client or account management experience

  • Experience working with business intelligence and reporting tools

  • Knowledge in healthcare, including revenue cycle, institutional and professional reimbursement methodologies and/ or major terminology

  • Knowledge in health insurance payer contracts

  • Experience independently managing project milestones

  • Experience building client relationships

VIEW JOBS 10/4/2019 12:00:00 AM 2020-01-02T00:00 Program Assistant: Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) The National Democratic Institute for International Affairs (NDI) seeks a Program Assistant to join its Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) team and support country staff, program managers, and the regional director in day-to-day activities, and in the planning, designing and implementing programs related to strengthening political parties, civic organizations, election bodies, local government and legislatures. Responsibilities: Under close supervision and direction of senior staff, the Program Assistant will perform the following tasks: * Provide administrative and logistical support * Contribute to writing and reporting of various documents specific to the team and/or region * Create initial drafts of budgets and monitor program budgets * Participate in program support and conduct research on programs * Provide administrative support for proposal production and work plan formulation * Attend meetings and keep up to date on the latest information on team, region, or partners * Monitor political events in assigned countries and provide written and oral updates to senior staff, as needed Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree, preferably in international relations, political science or a related field, or equivalent experience * Demonstrated coursework and/or internships in international development, community organizing, political campaigning, organizational development, legislative affairs or related subject * Good interpersonal skills to effectively interact with all levels of staff, U.S. and foreign government personnel and NGO community * Good oral and written communication skills; ability to effectively present information and respond to questions * Capacity to work both independently and as a member of a team * Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions * Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs * Experience with Google Apps (Gmail, Calendar, Google Drive, G+, etc.) strongly desired * Working knowledge of basic budget and accounting procedures; experience with budgeting preferred * Ability and willingness to travel to regional locations, which are sometimes remote and difficult to reach * Political analysis skills * Ability to effectively articulate NDI mission statements and program/project initiatives * Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail * Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines * Ability to apply discretion and maintain confidential information * Interest in and knowledge of regional political environment; knowledge and/or any coursework, volunteer work or experience with the Central and Eastern Europe region preferred Comments: This is a union position to be represented by the Office and Professional Employees International Union (OPEIU) Local 2.
