The Project Manager manages a pool of clients through the implementation process of the web-based business intelligence application. The Technical Project Manager manages the client relationship, sets and executes against project milestones, and manages client satisfaction and engagement throughout the implementation lifecycle. Technical Project Managers integrate and transform institutions' data into easy-to-use dashboards and reports that help illustrate performance improvement opportunities.
Set and execute against project milestones for a portfolio of clients
Design and lead implementation strategy based on nature and accessibility of client data
Partner with client staff, and potentially third-party vendors, to extract data
Devise creative solutions to accommodate partial data sets
Analyze client data to identify immediate improvement opportunities
Master the functionality of the business intelligence tool and develop expertise in product terrain
Foster executive level relationships within the institution
Facilitate client calls and in person meetings
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experienc
2 years of project management or coordinator experience
Experience presenting to and/or facilitating conversations with executive level audience
Proven experience in solving technical issues and translating the resolution to a non-technical audience
Experience working with large data sets, performing quantitative analysis, identifying trends, and making recommendations to clients
Willingness to travel up to 10% domestically
Experience with analytic tools (Excel, SQL, Access, SAP)
Client or account management experience
Experience working with business intelligence and reporting tools
Knowledge in healthcare, including revenue cycle, institutional and professional reimbursement methodologies and/ or major terminology
Knowledge in health insurance payer contracts
Experience independently managing project milestones
Experience building client relationships
