Position Description

Deutsche Bank's Corporate & Investment Banking (CIB) division combines our Global Markets, Corporate Finance, and Global Transaction Banking businesses, responsible for the origination, sale, structuring and trading of fixed income, equity, foreign exchange, derivative and money market products and also for capital raising and mergers & acquisitions advice. CIB has established itself as a global leader in these products by combining its unique distribution franchise with its pricing, structuring and execution experience.

CIB Americas Change Management is a front office team aligned to CIB Central management, responsible for strategy and execution of priority initiatives across businesses. The team manages a portfolio of front office change projects which span the Debt, Equities, Corporate Finance and Transaction Banking franchises, including the implementation of complex deliverables across asset classes, new regulation, process redesign, and regulatory remediation. The team is also responsible for driving thought leadership for solutions and delivery, ultimately ensuring businesses are informed and well positioned to proactively react to changes in a rapidly evolving market.


  • Contribute on a portfolio of projects end-to-end to deliver design and implementation of priority change initiatives across CIB businesses to meet regulatory and business requirements

  • Work to define holistic end-to-end solutions to regulations or strategic change initiatives

  • Work on deliverables and manage detailed implementation plans required to support solutions

  • Create material that will brief leadership team on progress of priority change initiatives and escalate as appropriate

  • Participate in project governance forums and committees

  • Develop relationships with sponsors and stakeholders across business lines and supporting infrastructure teams

  • Coordinate with subject matter experts and business stakeholders to define and implement relevant rules, regulatory actions, or other management priorities


  • Product knowledge particularly in Rates, Credit, Equities and/or FX cash/derivatives, with knowledge of the front-to-back trade lifecycle would be significantly advantageous

  • Product management, and/or management consulting experience

  • Understanding of project management methodologies across delivery lifecycle

  • Extremely proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word

  • Motivated, self-starting - able to initiate projects ensuring appropriate sponsorship, governance, funding and resources are available

  • Works well under pressure and always with a professional demeanor

  • Communicate effectively across all levels of the organization, with ability to influence and challenge key decision makers, peer groups, internal service providers and functions outside direct control

  • Agile and flexible - able to determine and resolve project slippage, scope changes, and prioritize deliverables to ensure critical milestones are met


  • Undergraduate Degree required
  • MBA / CFA is a plus
