Position Description

The Project Manager is responsible for coordinating and completing various operations projects. The Project Manager may lead Associate Project Managers to assist with identifying and driving project deliverables, meeting deadlines, sending project updates to stakeholders, and completing other project supporting tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and oversee multifaceted projects within operations, fostering collaboration among cross-functional teams.

  • Utilize established methodologies to manage all project stages, from scope definition to project completion.

  • Formulate comprehensive project plans to ensure optimal resource allocation for timely deliverables.

  • Proactively navigate changes in scope, issues, and risks, devising contingency plans, when needed.

  • Develop project deliverables to align with goals, documenting key decisions in precise meeting minutes.

  • Exercise discerning judgment in organizing and executing projects, driving effective communication and change management.

  • Collaborate with project stakeholders to capture project requirements and provide clear progress reports.

  • Uphold project documentation by utilizing project management software and tools.

  • Identify, present, and contribute to process improvement projects.

  • Train, lead, and manage workload of direct report team members.

  • Prepare and conduct performance reviews for direct report team members.

  • Limited travel may be required.

  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as required.

  • Communicate with team members, managers, directors, and vice presidents in all areas within Applied Medical Distribution Operations.

Position Requirements

This position requires the following skills and attributes:

  • Excellent time management, organizational, communication, and written skills.

  • Demonstrate proficient analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to prioritize projects and daily tasks while maintaining flexibility.

  • Highly detailed oriented with strong follow-up skills.

  • Competency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, Teams, Project, and Visio.

  • Ability to build and maintain strong professional relationships and work independently or in a team environment.

Preferred

The following skills and attributes are preferred:

  • Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.

  • Experience with Systems, Applications, and Products (SAP).
