We are hiring a Project Manager who has a demonstrated record successfully managing multi-discipline small capital projects to join our Houston office. This Project Manager will take point in the planning, implementation, and tracking of multiple complex engineering projects across various clients and sites.
To be successful in this role, the Project Manager will need to excel at interacting and collaborating directly with clients in diverse industries to define scope, establish budget, and create realistic schedules to meet the project requirements.
The Project Manager should also be comfortable coordinating project teams and holding team members accountable for schedule and budget in partnership with Group Managers.
The Project Manager will be expected to develop trusted and respected relationships with clients, staff, and industry partners, and will work closely with company management to identify, pursue, and win new business opportunities throughout the country.
Performance in this position will be measured against success of assigned projects (delivered on time, on budget with high client & team satisfaction), growth and development of client relationships, annual revenue goals within established accounts, and accurate, timely reporting of project management metrics to business leaders.
As this Project Manager will be working with some of the best technical minds in the business, our search will focus on applicants who possess the following qualifications:
A Bachelor's Degree in Chemical, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
A minimum of 5 years of experience with a record of being given increasing responsibility in Project Management
Experience with multi-discipline engineering projects
Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
Training and a solid understanding of techniques within the project management process groups: Initiate, Plan, Execute, Monitor & Control, and Close
Proficiency in Project Management software (MS Project) as well as the MS Office suite
This position should expect 25% travel, and will require a valid Driver's License.
