Must have strong CMC Combination Product project management skills (late stage and lifecycle management) and be highly skilled using MS Project tool and the development of complex timelines. NOTE: *The manager will not consider Project Managers within the areas of IT, Supply Chain & Construction. This is a totally different area and out of their expertise.2. Lead and work together with multiple cross functional teams and projects and establish strategies based on business needs for the on time delivery of new combination product devices.3. Human Factors experience and Packaging and labeling development and FDA submission experience.Also: Business Intelligence, E2E ImplementationDay to Day Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with CMC team members in defining clinical and commercial manufacturing requirements
  • Solve complex combination product-related problems using a variety of technical and analytical skills
  • Identify activities or events that may critically affect the on time delivery of the project and act on or relay that information to appropriate level of management
  • Support late stage activities including process validation and PAI preparations
  • Coordinate and document activities surrounding complaints received from sites or vendors
  • Present metric updates to management and project stakeholders.
  • Participate in regularly scheduled meetings with cross functional groups and vendors.
  • Handle confidential information and perform duties in strict confidence
  • Ability to multitask with varying priorities and projects
  • Previous supervisory skills are a plus (management of staff).
  • Functional/Technical Knowledge & Skills (including any required proficiency for particular computer programs or applications, if applicable):
  • Good knowledge and demonstrated practice of GMP Guidelines
  • Experience with regulatory submissions
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Project, Outlook, Word & Excel
  • Prior commercial launch experience highly desirable
  • Up to 10% travel (including international) may be required
  • Ability to thrive in a small group setting with limited administrative support, developing and maintaining collaborative internal and external relationships.
  • Excellent organizational skills.

In this vital role you will work with the Diagnostic Development Team (DxDT) and the Diagnostic Launch Team (DxLT) to support the development and implementation of high quality, global, integrated cross-functional diagnostic project plans for one or more products in support of the overall program strategy. These teams work with Amgen Product Development teams and Diagnostic companies to support the timelines and results for the programs.</p><p>Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:</p><ul><li><p>Working with the DxDT / DxLT Leads, identifies key Dx deliverables for each function and their inter-dependencies</p></li><li><p>Specifically, executing the following:</p></li><li><p>Dx joint project team decision log, meeting minutes, budget, forecast</p></li><li><p>Dx deliverables tracking</p></li><li><p>Dx regulatory risk log</p></li><li><p>Dx development timelines paired with the clinical development plans, working with the Dx strategy and technical leads, and clinical operation leads</p></li><li><p>Facilitates planning for diagnostic development and commercialization activities that support key drug development stage-gate decision points (e.g., First in Human, End of Phase 2, Filing, and Launch)</p></li><li><p>Manage the DxDT SharePoint and Teams to centralize DxDT information, planning, and budget</p></li><li><p>Implements standard methodologies and ensuring cross-functional alignment and accountability</p></li><li><p>Identifies project issues or resource gaps and facilitating resolution</p></li><li><p>Reinforces proper decision making according to Amgen's Decision-Making Framework</p></li><li><p>Monitors and communicates progress and adherence to diagnostic development timelines</p></li><li><p>Facilitates resource planning, financial and capacity assessments</p></li><li><p>Conducts risk management, contingency and scenario planning using a variety of project management tools</p></li><li><p>Leads review and execution of Diagnostic development budget, processing of invoices, purchase orders, contracts, statements of work</p></li><li><p>The Dx PM leads DxDT and DxLT team effectiveness by: Identifying and efficiently resolving issues, facilitating decisions, and tracking action items; appropriate issue escalation</p></li><li><p>Partners with DxDT or DxLT Leads to develop governance board deliverables and subsequent implementation of decisions</p></li><li><p>Develops positive relationships with external business partners and strategic alliances</p></li><li><p>The Dx PM drives effective DxDT and DxLT communication by:</p></li><li><p>Serves as a point of contact for cross-functional information (content and quality)</p></li><li><p>Communicates cross-functional project information at meetings and to other partners, as appropriate</p></li><li><p>Ensures alignment of functional and regional issues</p></li><li><p>Demonstrates strong written / oral communication skills and executive presence across functions and across different levels of leadership</p></li></ul><p>Win</p><p>What we expect of you</p><p>We are all different, yet we all use our unique contributions to serve patients.
