Job Title: Project Manager - Architecture

Job Description

As a Project Manager, you will manage small to medium-sized projects from inception to completion, focusing on both internal and external resources. You will take charge of the overall client relationship, starting from the initial assessment of client needs, through design concept presentations, and up to the final delivery of the project, ensuring a positive client experience. You will coordinate with both internal and external project teams to ensure compliance with the design concept and the timely completion of documents. Your role includes presenting and working closely with clients on approved design concepts, establishing and adhering to set budgets, and managing collections for assigned projects. Additionally, you will identify and pursue new business opportunities with existing and potential clients, manage and develop a team of 3 to 5 individuals, assign tasks, oversee work, and provide feedback to staff assigned to projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Architecture, Design or equivalent required

• 7 to 12 years of post grad experience

• Previous experience in project management for commercial interior projects is required

• Knowledge of materials, furnishings and construction methods related to interior architecture

• Knowledge of building systems, codes and ADA requirements

Work Site

This is a hybrid position requiring 3 days on-site in Chicago, Illinois and 2 days remote.
