Project Manager

Job Description

Seeking a proactive Project Manager with experience in the medical device industry, particularly experienced with plastic injection molding. The ideal candidate will have the ability to manage offsite vendors, drive actions with urgency, maintain accurate capital spend tracking, and facilitate high-level strategic execution. The role involves maintaining project logs using global PMO templates and thriving in a dynamic environment. This position requires tight meetings and clear communication to document execution and changes.

• Ability to manage offsite vendors and vendor activities. Ability to engage vendors and influence action / results

• Drives actions with a sense of urgency, PM can own the timeline and ensure execution to the critical path

• Accurate spend tacking for capital, month by month projecting into the future

• Facilitate the development of high-level strategies for execution with the team and ensures they're carried out

• Can facilitate the technical conversations

• Need tight meetings / communications with good notes to document execution and changes

• Maintains project logs utilizing the global PMOs templates (risk, assumption, questions, cost)

• Can thrive in a very dynamic environment

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Union City, California. 4 days onsite mandatory. Open to remote 1 day a week

Work Environment

There is heavy collaboration with various cross-functional teams. The role does not require hands-on product work but focuses on guiding direction within the team. The team includes three other Project Managers.
