CAMRIS is seeking a Project Manager 7 to support the mission of the Laboratory of Clinical Immunology and Microbiology (LCIM) at The National Institutes of Health (NIH) by conducting and supporting basic, translational and clinical research to better understand, treat, and ultimately prevent infectious, immunologic, and allergic diseases.
Oversee all aspects of projects, sets deadlines, assigns responsibilities, monitors and summarizes progress of project.
Prepare reports and memos for upper management regarding status of project.
Collaborate on and tracks project development and progress of processes and deliverables for self and others as necessary.
Research, analyze, develop, and implement Institute-level guidance and procedures.
Develop standard operating procedures, job aids, presentations, guidance documents, and materials related to operations as a liaison to administrative and human resource staff.
Gather, coordinate, and analyze information and financial data to develop annual budget estimates.
Ensure smooth and efficient running of laboratory operations in a large, fast paced lab by ensuring operational maintenance of bio-safety level 2 (BSL-2) and bio-safety level 3 (BSL-3) laboratory equipment and facilities.
Bachelor's degree in a related field.
Four (4) years of specialized experience plus a High School diploma is equivalent to a Bachelor's degree.
Extensive experience operating and maintaining bio-safety level 2 (BSL-2) and bio-safety level 3 (BSL-3) laboratory equipment and facilities.
Perform the above duties and assist the senior staff with assigned duties.
