CAMRIS is seeking a Project Manager 7 to support the mission of the Laboratory of Clinical Immunology and Microbiology (LCIM) at The National Institutes of Health (NIH) by conducting and supporting basic, translational and clinical research to better understand, treat, and ultimately prevent infectious, immunologic, and allergic diseases.

  • This position is contingent upon contract award.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all aspects of projects, sets deadlines, assigns responsibilities, monitors and summarizes progress of project.

  • Prepare reports and memos for upper management regarding status of project.

  • Collaborate on and tracks project development and progress of processes and deliverables for self and others as necessary.

  • Research, analyze, develop, and implement Institute-level guidance and procedures.

  • Develop standard operating procedures, job aids, presentations, guidance documents, and materials related to operations as a liaison to administrative and human resource staff.

  • Gather, coordinate, and analyze information and financial data to develop annual budget estimates.

  • Ensure smooth and efficient running of laboratory operations in a large, fast paced lab by ensuring operational maintenance of bio-safety level 2 (BSL-2) and bio-safety level 3 (BSL-3) laboratory equipment and facilities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.

  • Four (4) years of specialized experience plus a High School diploma is equivalent to a Bachelor's degree.

  • Extensive experience operating and maintaining bio-safety level 2 (BSL-2) and bio-safety level 3 (BSL-3) laboratory equipment and facilities.

  • Perform the above duties and assist the senior staff with assigned duties.

CAMRIS is seeking a Medical Officer to support the mission of the Tuberculosis Clinical Research Branch at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) by conducting and supporting basic, translational and clinical research to better understand, treat, and ultimately prevent infectious, immunologic, and allergic diseases. NIH is looking for a researcher with a M.D./Ph.D or M.D. with postdoctoral work in infectious disease (tuberculosis) and/or experience in clinical trials. * This position is contingent upon contract award. Responsibilities * Coordinates all aspects of clinical protocol development, review and implementation. * Monitors ongoing clinical studies and clinical trials. Evaluates existing protocols and provides suggestions for design, execution and improvement. * Assists in developing protocols for future clinical projects. * Produces various detailed reports for use by upper management. * Participates in site visits as needed, (OCONUS and CONUS). Qualifications * Medical degree from an accredited university. * Post-Doctoral work in Immunology, or Infectious Diseases (Tuberculosis) Research * Between one (1) and seven (7) years of experience in medicine or related field. * Experience in the development of clinical trial protocols. * Demonstrates experience in performing medical research and infectious disease (Tuberculosis). * Experience with immunology including additional experience in infectious disease research (tuberculosis). * Experience with managing or conducting clinical trials.
