We currently have an opening in Washington, DC for a Project Manager in our Transportation & Infrastructure division to work on various project and construction management services contracts for local transit agencies to replace existing and or build new bus and rail infrastructure.
Manages the project team to complete projects within the project budget and schedule
Coordinates, manages, and reports on the overall project budget, schedule, risks, and risk mitigation strategies
Coordinates between and among Client and other stakeholder departments
Develops, assigns, and monitors performance of OARs relative to assigned construction projects
Assists clients with bid and contract planning
Reviews and verifies submitted applications for payment and performs overall fiscal management of multiple large scale construction projects
Reviews and takes recommended actions in resolving disputes relative to construction projects
Develops and recommends internal policies and procedures
Provides managerial and construction oversight to OARs
Performs other related duties as assigned
Bachelors' degree in engineering, construction management, or related field
Minimum of 20 years demonstrated experience in managing large projects or programs
PE license preferred
Bus & rail transit experience required
Design/Build/Operate/Maintain (DBOM), Design-Build and CM-at-Risk contract management experience preferred
Ability to manage complex budgets and schedules
Knowledge of working in a government environment
Pass a government background check
Possess reliable transportation
Minimal travel may be required but the majority of work will be located in the Washington, DC metro area.
