We currently have an opening in Washington, DC for a Project Manager in our Transportation & Infrastructure division to work on various project and construction management services contracts for local transit agencies to replace existing and or build new bus and rail infrastructure.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manages the project team to complete projects within the project budget and schedule

  • Coordinates, manages, and reports on the overall project budget, schedule, risks, and risk mitigation strategies

  • Coordinates between and among Client and other stakeholder departments

  • Develops, assigns, and monitors performance of OARs relative to assigned construction projects

  • Assists clients with bid and contract planning

  • Reviews and verifies submitted applications for payment and performs overall fiscal management of multiple large scale construction projects

  • Reviews and takes recommended actions in resolving disputes relative to construction projects

  • Develops and recommends internal policies and procedures

  • Provides managerial and construction oversight to OARs

  • Performs other related duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelors' degree in engineering, construction management, or related field

  • Minimum of 20 years demonstrated experience in managing large projects or programs

  • PE license preferred

  • Bus & rail transit experience required

  • Design/Build/Operate/Maintain (DBOM), Design-Build and CM-at-Risk contract management experience preferred

  • Ability to manage complex budgets and schedules

  • Knowledge of working in a government environment

  • Pass a government background check

  • Possess reliable transportation

  • Minimal travel may be required but the majority of work will be located in the Washington, DC metro area.
