Job Description:
Using PMO best practices and standards, partner with the Microsoft product/program managers to facilitate a project management process to fit their needs, and oversee and execute on that process/plan.
Create, maintain and control the project schedule and dashboard, facilitate meetings, and proactively identify risks to the project. Shepherd the Project Team through the Release process, being mindful of all requirements. Facilitate program communications, identify and implement continuous improvement practices, and provide regular status reports as required.

5+ years of project management experience, Master's degree preferred, PMI Certification good to have
Knowledge/background in software industry products/services/applications, with in-depth knowledge of Microsoft's products/services/applications preferred.
Must possess strong cross team/group/org collaboration skills; ability to foresee and analyze project risks, develop risk management plan and mitigate subsequent issues.
The ideal candidate will have high-powered analytical skills and the ability to understand concepts and situations that pass by many others.
Specialized knowledge as defined by project required.
Must have excellent communication skills, experience working with external vendors, strong project management skills, and demonstrated success in adult learning and training principles/skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office required.
Summary of responsibilities will include:
Monthly invoice reconciliation between Microsoft & AMT Trust (Warranty sales)
Will need to reconcile vs MSSales & MAX Warranty claims o Will need to have high attention to detail and have creativity to work through issues
Summarize and communicating variances to LT
Partnering w/ vendor to solve issues as they arise

Maintaining Microsoft Warranty Pricelist
Partnering with IT to ensure data streams to vendor are working appropriately and solve issues as they arise

PowerBI creation Technical skills: SQL PowerBI MSSales Experience Excel needs to be a high level of skill Some understanding of COSMOS would help

Job Summary The Strategic Project Manager position offers a unique opportunity to manage impactful projects for Compass Group in the Microsoft National Account. Projects are selected to achieve a significant return for the company and add value and growth while measuring our progress and outcomes. This position will be tasked with owning the complete life cycle of major projects and drive the process from start to finish. Responsibilities: * Define project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with all stakeholders, including senior executives, sponsors, business owners and field operations * Create and execute end-to-end project plans and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements * Proactively communicate project details across multiple departments in a clear and concise manner * Coordinate project activities between team members, while maximizing their productivity to achieve project goals * Build internal and external business relationships vital to the success of the project * Resolve and/or escalate issues in a timely fashion * Identify, assess and minimize risks throughout the project life cycle * Create and maintain all project documentation pertinent to the project, including but not limited to, status reports, work plans, presentations * Understand team dynamics and adapt project management methodology as needed to ensure project success * Identify opportunities for improvement and make recommendations for change * Assist in developing project management best practices * Assist in Facilities based problem solving as assigned Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree or equivalent * 5 years' experience of managing large, complex enterprise projects, particularly those involving a medium to significant degree of change across the organization * Experience in MEP systems and design methodology * Proficiency in all Microsoft Office programs including MS Project * Experience in CAD based design programs, AutoCAD, Sketchup and Bluebeam preferred * Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines * Proven ability to work efficiently and effectively under pressure in a fast paced environment * Excellent oral and written communication skills * Travel as needed Compass Group is an equal opportunity employer.
