Boeing Global Services (BGS) is looking for Project Management Specialists to join our team in Berkeley, MO, Ridley Park, PA or Plano, TX.

The role will support program execution of all current and future Next Generation Product Support (NGPS) digital capabilities and investment across defense platforms, customers, and contract types (Foreign Military Sales, Direct Commercial Sales, and USG contracts).

Position Responsibilities:

  • Develops portfolio rationalization/strategic plans, integrated requirements/portfolio baselines, investment planning, program/platform/capability roadmaps, and prioritization of projects to align with strategic and business goals

  • Facilitates and influences investment strategy for the portfolio aligning work scope, tasks and resources within financial commitments

  • Closely collaborates with the BGS-Government

  • Develops strategic plans for realigning work statement to support current and new business initiatives that support organization goals and strategy

  • Balance the enterprise, business unit and customer goals to meet and drive the Long Range Business Plan (LRBP)

  • Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets milestones and operational goals

  • Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports to ensure alignment of needs and efforts

  • Program management efforts involve utilizing traditional management techniques (Waterfall, EVM) and Agile project management methodology

  • Applies technical knowledge of product support and Program Management Best Practices to direct program activities

  • Assist in Risk, Issue, & Opportunity management

This position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team's discretion and could potentially change in the future.

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret clearance post-start is required.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years of experience in managing project schedules and managing programs and projects

  • 3+ years of experience leading and driving strategies and processes

  • 3+ years of experience working directly with executives or senior leaders

  • 3+ years of experience working with and partnering with cross-functional teams on projects and initiatives

  • Willing and able to travel up to 25% of the time both domestically and internationally

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 5+ years of experience working directly with executives or senior leaders

  • Bachelor's degree or higher or equivalent military experience

  • Experience with critical business and financial acumen including risk, issue and opportunity and management to drive performance

  • Experience demonstrating Global Perspective

  • Experience with Project Management Systems Thinking

  • Experience with Product Support, Support Equipment and Training Services

  • Experience with Boeing Military Platforms

  • Experience as a Product Support Manager

  • Experience developing and implementing a comprehensive, outcome-based product support strategy

  • Experience in the areas of improving material availability, reliability, maintainability, and reducing Operating & Support (O&S) costs

  • Previous proposal and acquisition experience culminating in business growth or recapture

Typical Education/Experience:

Experienced:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.).

Lead:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 10 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+8 years' related work experience, 14 years' related work experience, etc.).

Relocation:

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range experienced: $87,550 - $126,500

Summary pay range lead: $107,950 - $156,400
