BoeingCommercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for a Project Management Specialist (Planner and Scheduling) to support the 787 Business Operations Team based out of North Charleston, South Carolina.

A successful Scheduler has an understanding of Open Plan/Milestones Pro, has strong project management skills, communicates clearly and concisely, follows-through, and builds strong, positive relationships with cross-functional stakeholders at all levels. This role will work closely with 787 production value stream stakeholders (including but not limited to engineering, supply chain, operations, and BPS).

Position Responsibilities:

  • Independently develops, coordinates, integrates, analyzes, and maintains an integrated plan and schedule to meet program and/or project requirements in accordance with project management industry standards

  • Performs studies, analysis (trend, variance, impact), risk assessments to determine impacts, and constraints involving product development, production rates, process improvement, program initiatives

  • Creates schedule, reports, metrics, change activity, communicates and updates plan regularly throughout lifecycle of program or project

  • Works to improve project management processes, business systems, and implement best practices that support project decision makers

  • Directs all phases of projects or subsystems of major projects from inception through completion

  • Acts as primary project contact to establish key stakeholder requirements and project objectives

  • Assists customers to develop performance recovery plan and ensure all project control systems are in place to support ongoing support to stakeholders

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):

  • 3+ years of experience collaborating with senior leadership

  • 3+ years of experience managing projects and applying standard project management tools

  • 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project)

  • 3+ years of experience using Open Plan or integrated scheduling tools

  • 1+ years of experience facilitating meetings and addressing senior leaders

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 5+ years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

  • 5+ years of experience with program oversight & metrics reporting

  • Experience working on airplane programs or supporting the production system

  • Experience working in a multifaceted work environment, to include managing multiple priorities

  • Experience with integrated scheduling tools

  • Proven verbal and written communication skills

Typical Education/Experience:

Level 3: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.).

Level 4: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 10 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+8 years' related work experience, 14 years' related work experience, etc

Level 5: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 15 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+13 years' related work experience, 19 years' related work experience, etc.)

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range level 3: $88,000- 95,000

Summary pay range level 4: $108,000-117,000

Summary pay range level 5: $132,000-143,000
