Qualis Corporation is seeking an entry level Project Management Security Support to perform Engineering Advisory and Assistance Support (A&AS) support to the 704th Test Group. The Project Management Security Support will perform security support functions for the 704 Test Group and work with the lead security officer, to perform duties IAW typical SAP security functions such as submitting PARs, controlling access to the facilities and programs, personnel security, physical security, anti-terrorism and respond to alarm activations. This position is located at Holloman, AFB, FL.
The Project Management Security Support will:
Assist in providing technical guidance to program personnel in the formulation and review of security classification guides and procedures tailored for individual SAR test programs.
Assist in formulating SAR program security plans for physical and operational security to include new construction, alarms, locks, data processing, secure communications, testing, data, and hardware shipments.
Assist in providing direction for changes and improvements necessary for security. Participates in meetings with SAR program test customers and test program contractors to discuss work and resolve security issues.
Prepare and process correspondence on all security matters.
Assist in conducting self-inspections to ensure compliance with all DOD directives for SAR facilities.
Implement and assist in the administration of the Information Security Program for Special Access Program Facility.
Implement DOD, SAF directives, regulations and policies for the classification and protection of classified national defense and other sensitive information.
Assist in interpreting, formulating, and implementing regulatory guidance for classification management and safeguarding requirements.
Interpret and prepare supplemental guidance as directed by DOD and SAF. Provides technical assistance in the procurement of classified destruction equipment.
Assist in Implementing established higher headquarters security policies, practices, procedures, and techniques that differ in kind and level of security, complexity, and local conditions or circumstances requiring adjustment or modification of established approaches.
Assess difficult and complex situations or problems complicated by conflicting or insufficient data or evidence that must be analyzed to determine the applicability of established methods and the need to digress from normal methods and techniques.
Assist in reviewing security incidents and assists in determining appropriate corrective action. This position would be full-time, approximately 40 hours per week
Education and Experience Qualification
Requires Bachelors degree in relevant discipline with minimum of 3 years of experience. Experience for education may be substituted with customer approval.
Must have ability to work within specific procedures and processes of the Air Force Test Center and DoD regulations and guidelines.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills along with customer interaction and presentation capabilities required.
Ability to quickly understand the customers overall technical objectives and mission a provide effective solutions.
Exemplify a dedication to achieving the mission of the 704 Test Group as well as high standards of quality and excellence in performing the duties.
Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment while being able to prioritize work to balance multiple projects and deadlines.
Must be willing to travel up to 10%.
