Description:Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Company and its research and development line-of-business, The Skunk Works, seeks a motivated and organized entry-level or junior-level candidate to join the Signature Management & Survivability (SM&S) directorate as a Project Management and Planning Operations Representative. We seek to identify an enthusiastic candidate willing to learn and perform tasks and responsibilities including, but not limited to:
Perform data management, spreadsheet manipulation, and reporting of project management earned value data for SM&S
Perform a myriad of project planning and finance functions, e.g. establish and manage project schedules, evaluate cost baselines, conduct Earned Value analysis, and use data analytic and statistical tools to analyze a variety of data sources
Coordinate and manage procurement requests and inputs between Engineering and Supply Chain departments
Support and assist new business pursuits and proposal preparation efforts
Collect and manage directorate-level inputs and requirements for software, hardware, capital, and facilities
Schedule, coordinate, and manage facilities for meetings, conferences, and special events for SM&S leadership and visiting customers
Coordinate conference room and video teleconference schedules
Administrative, organizational, and project management support to SM&S leadership team
This position requires strong communication skills and a successful candidate must have a demonstrated ability to communicate both verbally and in writing. Applicant selected will be subject to a Government security investigation and must eventually meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information and special program clearances.
This position requires a Final Secret to Start.
The following qualifications are Required for those that apply:
Experienced in Microsoft Office software suite (e.g. Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Project management or finance experience
