Essential Functions
Oversee and enhance Fusion's Project Management Office (PMO) processes to support organizational projects.
Collaborate with key business leaders and the Fusion Prioritization Team (FPT) to assess resource requirements and scheduling for upcoming projects.
Oversees and delivers effective facilitation and project management for cross-functional business teams in support of strategic initiatives.
Serve as consultant, mentor, and advisor in the application of project management tools and methods including the education on such tools and methodologies within organization.
Implements change management strategies to ensure buy-in and support for business optimization initiatives, to include communications planning and implementation.
Work with the Director of Strategic Initiatives and Business Solutions to develop performance metrics to measure project portfolio effectiveness and efficiency, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
Drives best practices in portfolio management while ensuring alignment with other critical teams.
Optimize resource allocation to maximize project outcomes and minimize bottlenecks.
Recruit, develop, and retain skilled individuals to achieve goals and maintain a high-performing, cohesive team.
Coach, mentor, and lead project managers to advance their projects effectively.
Monitor and manage the Project Management budget.
Lead/support enterprise projects during critical phases such as discovery, escalation, and implementation as needed.
Competencies
Excellent communication skills; comfortable and well versed in delivering formal communication, both written and verbal, to various levels of the organization including customers, subject matter experts, and senior leaders
Strong understanding of PM methodologies, tools, and techniques to effectively plan, implement and monitor projects
Ability to lead and coach their team, influence stakeholders, and drive projects to successful completion.
Dedication to developing and mentoring team members, fostering a culture of accountability, learning, and growth within the PMO.
Excellent conflict management skills that foster a culture of trust across teams.

Work Environment
This position operates as a hybrid position and routinely uses standard office equipment.
Work environment defined:
Local - position has in-office requirements and would require employee to live in the local area
Hybrid - position has weekly in-office requirements but ability to work from home as well, would require employee to live in the local area
Remote - no in-office requirements, employee would not need to live in the local area

Position Type/Expected hours worked
This is a full-time position, and standard hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, between the hours of 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. CST (flexible start/end times with manager discretion). Regular and punctual attendance is required
Required Education and Experience
A bachelor's degree in business administration, project management, or a related field is preferred or relatable experience.
Advanced degrees or certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional) certifications are a plus
At least 5+ years of experience in project management roles, with increasing levels of responsibility.
Proven experience in leading and managing cross-functional project teams.
Proven experience directly leading and mentoring people
Demonstrated success in implementing project management methodologies and best practices.
