Position Overview:

Summit Line Construction is excited to offer a dynamic opportunity for an Project Management Intern to join our team this summer! Located in Phoenix, AZ our company provides an enriching environment for interns interested in exploring the business aspect of managing electrical infrastructure projects.

What You'll Do

• Assist Project Management team with day-to-day tasks and projects, which may include research, data entry, administrative support, or assisting with specific initiatives.

• Collaborate with team members to contribute to the planning, implementation, and evaluation of high voltage electrical projects.

• Assist with the preparation and presentation of reports or other deliverables as assigned.

• Support the team in creating project plans, estimates, defining project objectives, milestones, and deliverables, and establishing project timelines.

• Assist in coordinating project activities, tasks, and resources, ensuring effective communication and collaboration among team members and stakeholders.

• Help in monitoring project progress, tracking key performance indicators, and preparing project status reports to keep stakeholders informed.

• Assist in identifying project risks, documenting them in a risk register, and contributing to the development of mitigation strategies.

• Perform other duties as assigned

What You'll Bring

• Currently enrolled in a 4-year degree program, with a focus on Business Management, Construction Management, or a related field.

• Basic oral and written communication skills.

• Familiarity with common word processing, spreadsheet, presentation, project management, and email software.

• A willingness to travel to job sites.

• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities.

• Enthusiasm for learning and growth.

• Must be able to pass drug test(s) as required for employment.
