Directs and leads the Global ProgramManagement Office (PMO) to ensure all development programs meet theorganization's objectives. Develops and implements, in collaboration with otherfunctions processes and policies, leads project management staff and works withother department leaders to define, prioritize and develop projects andprograms. Hires, trains and develops staff to build an industry leading ProgramManagement Organization.

Lead and grow a team of Program/Project Managers
Develop key performance indicators to measure the organization's progress.
Build and maintain a high performing team, able to collaborate on projectsacross various geographic sites.
Deliver development projects on time, on budget, on quality.
Plan realistic project timelines, resource allocations and budget
Ensure the budget is adhered to throughout fiscal year
Push back on unreasonable demands (e.g. timelines).
Be aware of details in ongoing projects
Manage the team to achieve metric driven objectives.
Ensure program managers manage towards their KPIs and do not just reportdeviations
Organize internal review meetings such as Design Reviews
Work with management to analyze program proposals and program objectives
Develop program plan, budget, schedule, and scope
Develop program management standards and methodologies to achieve programgoals.
Perform resource allocation and workload assignment for timely deliveries
Education, Certification, and Experience :
5+ years of experience in program management.
10+ years of leadership experience (Teams of 10+, not necessarily a team ofPMs)
Masters or Ph.D. in Life Sciences or Engineering
Experience within the Life Sciences/Biotech industry
Clear understanding of design control and stage gate development process
