We are seeking a Project Management Coordinator to join our Collaborations & Product Development team. The Project Coordinator will work to facilitate special projects with our private label clients. The Project Coordinator will use behind-the-scenes facilitation and customer-facing knowledge to ensure project completion and the highest level of client satisfaction. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who has a passion for design and enjoys managing and coordinating projects.

Responsibilities

  • Creates a meaningful relationship with both internal and external customers by:

  • Demonstrating leadership through effective management of large-scale projects

  • Ensuring excellence in solutions occur throughout quoting and production phases

  • Overseeing / facilitating compliance with customer guidelines and specification detail

  • Supervising PO placement and oversight in collaboration with Purchasing Team

  • Maintaining clear and immediate communication to address concerns

  • Managing project timeline

  • Proactively seeks continued education and learning opportunities to achieve job mastery.

  • Works effectively with peers and across relevant departments, ensuring mutual understanding of the task purpose and the impact on Arteriors.

  • Actively clarifies opportunities and overcomes obstacles through:

  • Enthusiastically working to identify the root cause of problems utilizing valid data and established problem-solving techniques to ensure problems will not reoccur

Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree in related field, preferably Merchandising

  • 1-3 years of relevant experience

  • Computer Skills Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, Powerpoint; Photoshop and CAD is a plus

  • Initiative and ability to work independently (self-direction), while also thriving in a setting requiring collaboration and teamwork

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, as well as, verbal and written communication skills

  • Able to react quickly with strong sense of urgency and multi-task

  • Strategic communicator with dynamic attitude; Ability to articulate and sell ideas

  • Experience with competitive, market, and trend research and strong analytical abilities

  • Demonstrated attention to detail and follow-through

  • Proven, strong organizational skills

  • Ability to travel domestically

  • Some physical work required

Specifically, the Franchise Renovation Project Manager is responsible for the management of Franchise renovation projects. This individual must have the ability to build relationships with our Franchise partners as well as with G6 team members. The Project Manager will play a crucial role in project planning, on site project reviews, and project validation. This position must be able to accurately and timely report construction status, project completions, and opening updates. Serve as a key point of contact for franchisees within a geographic region and delivery of all brand services. What you will be doing… The Franchise Renovation Project Manager is responsible for the management of Franchise renovation projects. The Project Manager will also play a crucial role in project planning, on site project reviews, and project validation. This includes techniques, and procedures to the design and construction/habitation of the project * Write reports on the projects for management and owners * Create a detailed work plan which identifies and sequences the activities needed to successfully complete the project What we are searching for… * A Candidate with the ability to build relationships with Franchisees in order to provide excellent customer service and effectively communicate relevant information to appropriate personnel * Partner with Development, Openings, Design and Operations teams to ensure successful and timely new property openings * Provide project oversight and advisory services to franchisees for most efficient and effective management of their projects and drive the renovation/construction process to ensure timely completion and analyze and advise franchisees on product requirements * Act as an intermediary for any issues between franchisee and suppliers and assist the franchisee in the procurement of goods and services needed to complete their project * Monitor all projects with respect to schedules, quality and grading of finished project and give direction on all project related questions, issues, concerns, and clarifications on standards * Make field inspections verifying consistency of standards, details, and quality; manage brand and quality standards throughout the construction * Interact with architects, consultants, and municipalities, review and approve plans, deal with codes and assist the franchise to obtain product substitutions or waivers of standards as appropriate We feel the successful candidate has these qualifications and experience… * 3+ years of multi-location commercial construction, construction, project management, construction administration or equivalent * Ability to review and comprehend construction documents and shop drawings; Ability to read and comprehend design and construction specifications and manuals * Working knowledge of the IBC * Maintain attention and concentration for extended periods of time * The interpretation and application of a variety of policies and procedures.
