Description:Manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, finance, and functional support management. Oversees the status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports.
Monitors the assessment of project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives. Insures the development of mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, functional managers, and clients.
Knowledge of project management practices (Cost-Earned value, Schedule, Performance), to include practical program/project management experience in the Military support arena. Work ethic to deliver quality products/services on time and within budget.
Familiar with common military weapons, accessories, uniforms and organization clothing and individual equipment, (OCIE). Proficient in the following - JOBSCOPE/ IT Reports,GOLD,and Microsoft Office applications;Excellent communication skills and able to work under strict time constraints. PMP Certification is a plus. Prior Military experience, especially Logistics experience is strongly desired.
