Lockheed Martin Aeronautics is seeking a Summer 2024 Intern - 'Return to Work' Project Manager. In this role, you will participate within the Return to Work (RTW) team.

Primary focus will be metrics creation/sustainment, executive presentation skills, support IAM production employee opportunities for alternative work, lean concepts and 6S. You will serve as a liaison for the RTW team and area Leadership team to assesses project issues, develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality and Production Operations goals and objectives. The successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge of Engineering/Supply Chain/Operations Management/Environmental Safety & Health and possess requisite skills and abilities for development.

Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Basic Qualifications:

• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business or a related discipline

Desired Skills:

• Strong communication and problem solving skills. The ability to work autonomously when provided work instructions.

• Knowledge of formal problem solving methodologies, and ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework:

The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees.

Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
