Oversees and coordinates the operational aspects of ongoing programs and serves as liaison between program management and planning, support team, and production management. Assesses program issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction goals and objectives.
Develops mechanisms for monitoring program progress and for intervention and problem solving with program managers, production managers, and customers. Develops solutions to a variety of complex problems. May refer to established precedents and policies.
Work is performed under general direction. Participates in determining objectives of assignment. Plans, schedules and arranges own activities in accomplishing objectives.
Work is reviewed upon completion for adequacy in meeting objectives. Exerts some influence on overall objectives and long range goals of the organization. Position requires knowledge and successful application of lean principles, in a manufacturing environment. Requires experience participating in multi-functional teams and completing major projects resulting in financial savings to the organization.
The successful candidate will typically have a bachelor's degree or equivalent plus six years of related experience. Must have a complete understanding and application of principles, concepts, practices and standards.
Full knowledge of industry practices. Position requires knowledge and successful application of lean principles in a manufacturing environment. Requires experience leading multi-functional teams and completing major projects in a project leadership role resulting in financial savings to the organization.
