The Role

Korn Ferry is seeking a Project Lead, Global Operations. This role will be based either in our Dallas, Texas Korn Ferry office or on-site with our client located in Columbus, Indiana.

Note, there is some flexibility on work location dependent on the right candidate.This role will primarily focus on tracking all client project work on a global scale. Reporting in on progress, prioritization, ensuring deadlines are met etc. You will collaborate with hiring leaders on a global scale and are expected to communicate directly and effectively.

In many instances' calls can be "after-hours" and you would be expected to be available, albeit remotely from home, to be on those calls. This role will report to the client Global Project Director and report in on all initiatives and their ultimate success.

Key Accountabilities

  • Develop a tool-set, meeting and reporting rhythms to help account leadership find and agree on priorities, focus energies, track progress and complete projects. Develop training and support systems to help all user's 'self-support' as often as possible.

    Develop relationships and track with account leaders and COE's to drive efficiencies, focus and coordination across work streams. Work across Korn Ferry account leadership and client global leadership and Functional Excellence Project Managers, and the larger Korn Ferry family to ensure alignment and tracking against all work streams. Work Streams include projects related to training, sourcing, governance, operationalizing new ideas from the customer or project team, Continuous Improvement efforts, etc.

    Develop "PMO Ambassadors" (Project Management Office) on each regional account team to help drive coverage "across the clock" and ensure local accountability for deliverables. Help develop tools and communications to ensure visibility of these programs to all leadership for tracking purposes.Some of the work is admin (coordination, scheduling, reports); some of it is creativity and ideation; some is project management; a bit of all things.

Skills & Experience

  • 6+ years of project management experience on a global level. 6+ years of client facing experience interacting with client leaders throughout the process.6+ years of strong Microsoft Office experience."Microsoft Planner" experience a huge plus. Engineering and Manufacturing familiarity a plus.Strong work ethic and organizational skills a must.Bachelor's degree required

The Global Business Lead for Energy Storage will drive our business towards achievement of the goals set out in Energy's Storage Transformation Strategy, leading a global team of up to 50 energy storage experts and working in close collaboration with the Regional and Business Unit Managers and their teams across DNV GL Energy. The Global Business Leader will focus on the key markets and customers for growing our storage business and also drive the expansion of our digital Energy Storage services, focussing on those activities where DNV GL Energy can deliver added value and achieve required levels of profitability. The individual should be capable of penetrating customer organisations (for example, utility and renewables asset owners,) at the C-suite, seeking new ways to work with key customers and establish DNV GL as a leading technical advisor and software service provider to the Energy Storage industry. Tasks May Include * Achieve improved market recognition to secure extraordinary growth in terms of order intake and revenue on a global basis * Lead and manage the development of DNV GL's digital service offerings for the Energy Storage industry * Lead and manage the global Storage Transformation team, located in different regional offices, working as one virtual team * Drive substantial recruitment to the global storage team, in line with the strategic plan * Analyse new business opportunities, gather market intelligence and ensure distribution of knowledge amongst relevant colleagues * Decide the market approach for energy storage, and cooperate with the relevant regional teams for large value strategic and tactical projects * Keep up to date with developments in energy storage and identify services to promote and/or enhance * Cooperate and work closely with the regional Business Development managers, Service Area Leaders and Heads of Department on large multi-disciplined sales efforts and subsequent delivery set up for the projects when required * Participate in cross-regional commercial activities and business development such as 'first time' bids and complex projects in agreement with the Service Areas/ Regions/ Business Units * Encourage and promote improvements in cross regional and cross departmental working to enhance the value added to Customers.
