Job Description:

Responsible for acting as the primary contact on mid-high level projects. Responsibility includes leading, directing and coordinating the implementation of multiple projects. Provide relationship management, servicing and technical assistance to internal business partners/vendors in order to ensure a timely and smooth implementation process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide a consultative approach to leadership teams through implementation

  • Facilitate internal and external calls to work through implementation requests utilizing project management and technical skills

  • Troubleshoot, research and respond to internal team requests

  • Engage key stakeholders throughout the implementation process

Required Skills:

  • Comfortable using a disciplined development methodology and adhering to development best practices, standards and procedures

  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with peers, customer groups and management

  • Excellent follow through and initiative

  • Comfortable with direct client and line partner interaction, with proven client interaction abilities

  • Ability to present ideas and information in group settings

  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in requirements gathering and development

  • Self-starter and independent worker, ability to work with minimum supervision

  • Understanding of project management practices with the demonstrated ability to successfully deliver assignments on time and on budget

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office

  • Strong written, presentation and oral communication skills

  • Able to take high level information and drill down to detail level that can be shared and communicated to various audience levels

Desired Skills:

  • Six Sigma Green Belt experience or PMP Certification

  • Lean Agile experience

  • Able to work independent of direct supervision

  • Highly organized, adapt at time management and problem solving

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, positive attitude, team player

The Implementation Specialist will work closely with ONESOURCE Indirect Tax Project Managers to implement ONESOURCE Indirect Tax Determination and Compliance tax software at client sites in Global Implementations. Responsibilities * Interact with client tax and technology professionals. * Assist in business and tax requirements sessions and formulate into design/solution documentation. * Engage with other key teams within Thomson Reuters as appropriate to deliver end to end Indirect Tax solutions * Prepare and execute test scripts and test cases * Assist Project team to ensure all Indirect tax related requirements are met * Explain ONESOURCE Determination related issues/problems and solutions to Tax & technical staff * Work with clients to translate their tax policy into ONESOURCE Solutions * Configure ONESOURCE Indirect Tax Determination Engine * Completes tasks with limited supervision * Performs technical or functional roles on small to medium projects led by a Sr. Implementation Consultant, or Project Manager.
